Something happened to one of our drivers just now, at around 10pm.
He was still alright when the rest of us went out to buy some things. But when we came back an hour later, he was gasping for breath, some sort of like an asthma attack. Some of the guys tried to calm him down, but in vain. I just stood there, not knowing what to do, wondering what's wrong with him. He was struggling, and there was fear and tears in his eyes.
But what could I have done to help him just now? I do not know much.
I felt useless.
The only thing I had done was to help pack his basic items like toothbrush and shirt. Nothing else. He is now at Ngee Soon Camp for further observation…
Yeah, life is precious. You never know what will happen tomorrow. Maybe I should learn to appreciate others more……
