CNY 2011 Day 6

End of holidays…

Went to swim with yz in the morning, at clementi swimming pool. Well, it’s more of like, slack-around-and-talk-crap-and-swim-little session. And there are lots of old uncles in the pool too. There was one group in the toilet who were chatting while bathing! LOL…

Retired life… how nice…

It was nice to be lazing around in the pool, and talking, and talking, and talking…

Yeah. We were like retired folks. LOL!

—————————————————————————–

Went over to clementi mall for lunch. LJS. They had this prosperity meal for 2. LOL. She had the fish. I had the chicken. Then stoned around more. Nice aircon, etc…

Then we went home.

—————————————————————————–

Went out again at around 5+. IMM. Bought some things here and there. And then, met up with the secondary school people for dinner at ichiban. zx, rf, edric, bc, zy, yz, and me.

Yummy. And then swensen’s. Yummy.

Anyway, one more card completed. Time to have another spin of the wheel. LOL.

Then we went home.

—————————————————————————–

Sometimes I am really pissed at little things.

Pissed #1

Is it really that hard to say ‘oh he is joining us too’ when asked who else was being invited by a person? It’s not that I only asked once. I asked TWICE.

TWICE.

is it THAT difficult?

Pissed #2

Replying ‘I am not going’ seems to be hard for some people too.

Pissed #3

Something’s wrong, when voices of people talking are louder than the sound and music and vocals from the speakers.

Pissed #4

Is ‘getting sponsorship’ really that important for an outing? I simply don’t see the link. It’s not as if we cannot afford things. And funny enough, it’s not that we have done anything superb.

So thick-faced?

By the way, the Earth is still rotating.

Pissed #5

An activity, cancelled. due to a certain reason, or due to some other reason?

Sure?

—————————————————————————–

I think, overall, primary and secondary school friends are still the best group. Next will be army friends.

One, we are all of the same kind during primary and secondary school days. For army friends, we were all under one roof once. Chiong together, die together, huat together.

Together.

That’s the key.

Colleagues hardly die together, in my opinion. So much so that, I am starting to draw lines, which is bad.

There was one, previously. There was one that I would go all out to support. There used to be one. And I am very sure the support will be returned.

Mutual support.

Together.

Some people do their own parts. Clear cut. I don’t chup you, you don’t come and chup me. Bad…

1 thing I think was bad was, we rendered help, and stayed back to work together. When the help was rendered, and things were done, they were happy. And then, on another day, we stayed late, and since the other job was completed, the people disappeared.

It was true that staying back had no benefits. But at least, it’s a form of support.

At least, try.

Together.

And since I did not see that, there was once I did not see the need to stay back and wait.

Life’s becoming selfish.
