You know, it’s kind of better to do programming in an environment where you can really relax where possible, sleep where possible, and do whatever you like that when you are just super pissed off with programming.
That’s why, I think, office environment is not really a good place to work on programming.
Firstly, there are so many other distractions. Suddenly, the phone rang. A while later, you have to attend to another problem. Soon after, it’s lunch time. And then, boss wants to talk about something. Etc etc etc…
And before you know it, it’s 6pm.
WTH.
At home, it’s different. I can go for a swim. I can go and watch TV. I can eat at any time I want. I can even work at midnight.
Like now.
No, I am not doing programming now. I am just giving an example. LOL.
Programming for me, is all about feel. When I feel like it, I can complete something within 1 hour. If I feel shitty, I will be staring at the screen for 1 whole day, and I will have only completed one minor part.
