Brest, Week 3

Oooo it’s been another week! Time passes real fast here, I think. Or rather, maybe it’s because we have been extremely busy since Tuesday.

Lalala…

Been going out for sea trials. It’s cold. Damn cold. Imagine, wind speeds of around 8 knots blowing on your face, temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius and below, and with drizzle almost everyday, on and off. The best thing was on Thursday. Rain, and then, hail, and then, snow. Brrr…

I hate it when my gloves get wet. Then I have to remove my gloves. Then my hands will start to turn red. You know the feeling of soaking your hands in a pail of ice water with ice cubes in it? Yeah, that’s the feeling. Try that for hours, and that will be what I am feeling. LOL.

The weather has been abnormal. It usually does not snow in Brest. And even if it does, it is in January. It’s now end November. Oh well. Strange weather.

It snowed today! LOL. The weather forecast is good. 5 days ago, I was already looking at the forecast. It said snow. oOoo.. and indeed it snowed on Sunday. Pro…

It’s quite nice to see white everywhere…

A white Christmas feel, eh?

Went to the airport to fetch the chef. LOL. Jojo’s bf’s here! He was damn garang to be wearing only a T-shirt and jeans while waiting for the luggage. Another cold pro…

Went shopping on Saturday to prepare for the snow, and also to find better ways to keep warm out at sea. Bought a pair of leather gloves from Jules, and a coat from H&M. Gonna try that gloves and coat out at sea tomorrow. It should be good, I suppose. LOL. If now, oh well, red hands and shivering body once again…

A few more weeks, and I will be done here. Will my back get better by then? Strangely, I thought my back had gotten better since Thursday, but then, it got a bit worse on Friday night. Hmmm… perhaps it’s the overall that was passed to us to try. It was a bit too small for me. I managed to squeeze in, but it restricted my movements. Yeah. That’s the cause. LOL…

Ok, going to rest soon…
