School Starts!!!

Yay…. finally school has started! First day of school, and I was greeted by the usual thing: running for 183, standing until after Toh Guan area, and squeezing out of the bus at the Engin bus stop. Usual working crowd, going to work, taking 183. No choice, because somehow, 188 will be worse. 96 too.

This scene has become very mundane, especially for 9am days.

Today's first lecture was EE3101 Digital Signal Processing. Ben was late, and Grace was late. The crowd was still ok, and Melissa was quite alright while lecturing. The only thing was, what was she discussing about? OMG signals + system and control, sem 1 05/06. And now's sem 1 06/07. Well done. Currently trying to recall all the crap that I have learnt last year. Impulse? Unit step? And…. convolution???

Duhz…

After that, ate lunch at Olive Cove. The menu did not change much actually. Everything's the same. Furniture, plates, etc etc etc, and the aunties. Lol. Ate the pasta that looked like mee-pok. (don't know how to spell that name…). Still edible.

Went for EE3601 Bio-instrumentation and Signal Processing lecture. Dr Sada (full name too long to be spelled correctly without referring to lecture notes…) was ok. Stories here and there, not much details yet. Somehow it seems like I have been very pro-bio? LSM1304 Microbes and Man, LSM1301 General Biology, and now this… But anyway, bio-related stuffs can be fun!

Went for a swim at BB with Zhenyao after that. It looks like Monday afternoon after 4pm will not be a good time for future swims. So I guess, for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, swims after 4pm will be strong not recommended.

After that, I thought of going IMM, but decided against the idea. Too sianz.

Ok, back-dating events:

On Sunday, I went back to CSS with a few guys in the morning, at 11am. Walked around, looked around, noticing the changes here and there…

That should be the last time that we will ever land our foot in CSS @ JE. Coming year-end, the school will be so close to my home… Too bad for them, there's nothing much over here.

Met a few guys and girls here and there, saw Mr & Mrs Leong, and their son! Saw Mrs Yeo! Mrs Yip, and even Mrs Lim! Wow wow… Not much pictures to update, because they are all in my phone. Keep them there for now.

And Mr Yong had retired I guess. No chance to talk to Mr Leong, much less ask him. Haiz… Why he that day, eye put stamp, waved at him but he did not see??? Now how are we going to find him? Go Westmall everyday and hope that 1 day, he will appear? Lol…

But his face is still on the school list? Hmm

I forgot the hotmail address that he was using around 6-7 years ago. I thought I remembered, but I was told that I have got the wrong email address. Well well…

Left the place quite early, close to 1. We had basketball matches to catch.

Ate Mac at West Coast Park, and off we went to Singapore Indoor Stadium to watch the Philips Singapore Cup tournaments. 3 games in a row. Exciting for some. Damn boring sometimes. Some lack the skills, the courage, the power. And biased commentators and very biased peorons controlling the siao sound effects. The host for the day sounded like he's hosting some WWE match… well well.

After that, went to Suntec for dinner. The matches ended at around 8+! Jalan around a bit, and home.

And yeah, thanks RF for the tix. Wahahaha…

Saturday was stay-home day. So sianz. Parents went out, so I decided to be a ???. Played around with games. Played around with Flash. Played around with sounds. Played around with Dreamweaver. Played around with Adobe. Channel U was showing the repeat telecast of the NDP. I did not want to watch again.

Nothing happened for the day. Quiet day…

Ok, things to do for this new sem!

  1. Pull up my caps. (as usual)
  2. Stone less (a bit hard)
  3. Swim more (even harder)
  4. Play less (maintain)
  5. Work hard (sounds impossible for me)

And some other mini things!

  1. disown all brothers and sisters. Makes no difference to me and to them.
  2. Think abit more in terms of me. Have to be selfish sometimes. When people don't think for/about you, help yourself.
  3. Watch, see, learn, evaluate, change.

For now, it's sleep first.
