Well well…

Sometimes, it’s quite sianz. I can get quite pissed if I know someone knows something that I do not know.

I have been trying hard to change this little stupid brain of mine…

Been waking up relatively early nowadays. I can sleep at 12.30am, and yet, wake up at 5.30am, and then, nua in bed until alarm sounds.

Did I say that before? It feels so familiar. Maybe I did.

What do I want to accomplish this week, before the holidays?

I don’t know. Lol. People who know me, will know that I hate to plan. Heh. Planning don’t work for me.

Started reading Timeline by Michael Crichton yesterday. Quite nice wor… so far. Sci-fic… lol… Maybe I will go dig out the movie soon. Heh…

We had a little outing today! Initial plan was to go prawning, but when we got there, no one’s interested anymore. The funny thing was, no one said anything about not wanting to prawn fishing, except for a few. Lol…

Ok, so we changed our plans. We went over to Kallang Leisure Park instead. That was the second time I was there… I don’t remember much about that place though.

We decided on KBox, and then changed our minds at the third floor, and watched 十月围城 instead. Wahhaa… New movie leh… how can give it a miss?

And I don’t really watch movies. Either I fail to jio people, or people don’t really jio me. So most of the time, I will just forget it.

Sad hor…

But anyway, the show’s boring in the beginning. They talked alot… And somehow, we missed a bit of the beginning. Was a bit lost when I sat down on the seat. And then, it got more interesting. Then more fighting scenes. More exciting scenes.

Let me stop commenting. Watch it yourself…

After the show, we had dinner at Nihon Mura. mmmm… Had a glass of Ume Green Tea. Wahaha! Quite nice actually.

And then? Home la.

For the gift exchange, someone gave me a bottle of white wine.

I wondered why. Do I look like some sort of a guy who drinks? Whahaa…

And I concluded that the person who gave me that, did not really know me. Giving that wine was a bit of a force-through, using some information that he/she had seen somewhere. Heh.

Or maybe, that person wants to drink that, and hopes that I will open it? LOL. Highly possible.

What I hoped for, did not appear, but nevertheless, thanks for the wine!

What I hoped for, is “not to be sponsored by what I have been sponsored by so far”. People who know me, will know what I am talking about.

Spent 1 whole day at YC, instead of the initially-planned 1/2 day. It rained. It stopped. It rained again.

And I decided that it was too late to go back to office.

Stayed around, till the end of the day. Sometimes, it’s fun to go there.

And then, had dinner. Pastamania. I wondered why I ordered alfredo, when actually, I have somehow made up my mind some time ago, not to have creamy pasta…. duhz.

And we thought we saw someone familiar! We were trying to hide, but hiding in a shop where the person was walking towards, was not a very ingenious idea…

Oh well…. LOL!

Got this book on Sunday afternoon, after tennis.

I finished it 1 minute ago.

Interesting book.

My original plan was to finish the book by Sunday. Looks like I am well ahead of schedule.

Maybe I was just pissed. For nothing. Maybe I was just feeling @Q#!@#&!@)(*! For nothing. How I feel doesn’t matter. It does not affect anyone else but me. Because people just don’t care.

They simply choose not to.

How I wish I can do that too. And become evil. Notorious. Scheming. Sly. And ultimately, a @#(!#)* bastard.

Oh well. Maybe not.

When I am feeling @#*)(*)(!#!@#, I tend to do funny things. Like playing nice tunes on the keyboard, humming nice melodies, and then playing shit tunes a while later. Lol!

If there’s anything that I have learned so far, it will be that sometimes, being too good, is a risk, instead of an advantage.

Anyway, I have not talked about the book’s title.

It’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, by Mark Haddon. It’s a first-person story of a young guy with special needs. He’s damn good at Maths and has photographic memory, however. It’s like a blog sometimes, with every chapter feeling like a blog entry. Lol…

It’s an interesting book. Find it at a library near you. Or you can buy it.

As I have said earlier, I found the book on Sunday afternoon, after tennis. That was my second attempt. The first attempt, was on Sunday too, before tennis. I failed to find the book on my first attempt. I did not give up, and went back to the library again. I asked the librarian, and she told me, it’s at the 4th floor. I went up, and there were at least 2 copies of the book available. Glad of the find, I took the book, borrowed it, and went to do some shopping, before going home.

Sometimes, I begin to wonder, why do I do so many things? Why do I go to the extremes (ok, maybe not that extreme… but… whatever)? Why do I never learn my lesson from past experience?

Be it for a particular person. Be it for a group.

Played tennis in the morning with Hua Hui. Quite a hot morning! The sun’s burning me!!! I can still feel the heat on my arms…

Anyway, we played a match. 6-3, 6-1.

After that, I went to the bus stop. Played the bus game. Again, 198 came. I decided not to go to JP again. Heh. So I alighted at JE library, and walked all the way to IMM.

Nowadays, I found myself to be walking a lot more. Perhaps it’s due to some influence, or perhaps it’s just my choice. Walking’s good anyway. BUT… the weather’s still damn hot! And I was wearing some BLACK T-SHIRT…… Duhzzz…

I walked into IMM, and I felt the cold air blasting at me.. SHIOK. LOL.

Jalan jalan around, buying a little bit of things here and there, and then home. Bought some more decoration stuffs to put up on Monday, some hooks, some food, some boliao things, and such…

I walked over to BK. I looked at the counter. And I told myself, NO.

I was about to walk out of IMM from that BK exit. And I thought, why not WALK BACK to JE???

And yes, I did!

Walking’s good anyway. Wahaha…

And I walked back to JE. This time, there’s a bit of dark clouds here and there, but no, it did not rain. Hmm…

Had a sudden craving for chicken rice, and so, I went to buy one packet home. Heh. Watched a movie at home, and then stoned… and nua… as usual.

And since I am so early (see earlier post), I can start crapping, in the darkness (nowadays, I have this tendency to NOT turn on the lights in my office. Am I turning into a vampire? LOL).

Sometimes, when people ask you something that you do not wish to answer, what is the very first reaction you might have will be?

Is it irritated? Or pissed? Or are you very firm with your stand with a ‘I don’t want to let you know’ type of reply?

Sometimes, I have the above kind of feelings too. Sometimes, the “if duno, ask and you will know” type of thinking don’t really work, if people just think that you are too kpo, or too direct, or simply, too irritating.

Of course, I had my own ‘if duno, ask and you will know’ encounters too. Nonsense reply. Slow reply. No reply. What have you.

I don’t know about others. But I rather have a negative reply, if not a positive one. I rather have some form of response.

Responses are important (did I ever write about this, donkey years ago? I might have). Responses are feedback. It’s a form of communication. At least for me, they are.

And I don’t think anyone will ask a question, just for fun.

Why do people ask questions? To find out more.

Why do they want to find out more? They are curious.

Why are they curious? They are interested.

Why are they interested? Who knows. They just do. Work? Care? Love? Hate?

Kpos, we all are. LOL.

But then, if we spend some time thinking, the reason should be extremely clear. So clear.

I gave up waiting for replies, I think. Lol.

Be it sms, msn, email, or even verbal.

Sometimes, there’s no ‘handshaking’ involved. No TCP communications. Just UDP packets. Dump-and-forget-about-it. If I get a response, I count myself lucky and blessed. If I don’t, too bad.

Sometimes, it feels like going back to square one.. Hmm.. Wahhaa!

Ok. End of crap. LOL.

Woahhh… Never been so early at the workplace before. It’s only almost 7.55am now.

So, if I have a van travelling at 80-100kmh, from my home to my workplace, via AYE and CTE (with no ERP charges, since it’s so @#)(*@# early), I will reach the workplace within 30 minutes.

And I get to choose my parking lot at the car park. So empty.

And then, imagine, if I have a car travelling at 90-110kmh, from my home to my workplace, via the same route, I will reach here in about, 20 minutes?

Oh well…

Can I have a car (including COE, road tax, insurance, 1 year unlimited free supply of fuel, etc) for Christmas?

Anyway, we went to Ivan’s Grandma’s wake yesterday, at a church in Upper Serangoon. We were sort of jammed by someone just before we left (on the phone for @#(*)@# long), and we were sort of behind time for a lot of things. And we were sort of rushing here and there, as the other group was already there.

Rushing for time. When initially, we had plenty of it.

And then, after that, we went over to Chomp Chomp for dinner. We ate like it’s free! Fried oysters, Hokkien Noodles, BBQ Chicken, BBQ Stingray, BBQ Crayfish, Salad Youtiao, and super big mugs of sugarcane juice.

But then, before we left, we saw even larger mugs available from another stall….. Wahliew…

Yup… things were quite yummy! But the crayfish was… well.. so-so. I prefer stir-fried crayfish. And the youtiao was… well.. edible.

The stingray was good! So were the oysters, BBQ chicken, and hokkien noodles! Yummmmy.

And the surroundings were good views too, sometimes. LOL!

Reached home at around, 10.40pm? Too tired to do anything else after that. Not even a bit of guitar playing.
