Super Star? Oh Well…

OK, Project Superstar will be the debate for this week I think.

Highest points get the boot. Lower points win. And a lot of people have something to say regarding Weilian's win.

Are the voters being biased? Or are they being sympathetic? Or are they just plainly supporters?

Who knows. I am not taking sides. Some people are just angry with the outcome, and they won't be able to give logical explanations. They will just throw the blame here and there, and never on themselves.

Votes… will they release the voting results? Can they be transparent? At least a percentage? No? Never? Commercial secret?

Looking at the margin will be much clearer. What's their difference in scores. What's their fan size.

Too bad if statistics are not available.

It's quite true that it's hard to put a blind guy on a Superstar route. He has somehow, by his own means or by suppporters', managed to crawl all the way to the finals and win it. Well done. That's all I can say.

Not that his singing is not good (unlike one SG Idol siao, who kicked out lots of good singers before he himself got the boot). Yes, he's not that bad, except for the bad habit. He has no singing tutor, and did not have any singing lessons. And he's brave enough to stand there and sing.

About money terms. If he has supporters, he will be marketable, at least for the first CD. That's what record companies are more interested in?

On a comparison (using a really bad example), William Hung did had an album…

“She bangs… She bangs…”

Accept thy fate. YMCA next Superstar audition, and you may have a better chance.

Oh well. These 4 finalists are good. Who knows, the record companies may just change their mind and sign all of them up. Just like SG Idol, where 1 contract became 2 for the 2 finalists.

Ahh… we shall see who's the Ultimate next week…

Nothing more to add. Full stop.
