5 People You Have Met Today

Ok, actually more than 5. What to do, I see everyone everywhere. Lol!

Met JOAN for lunch! 11am! Saw KEOW KOON at the canteen (yeah nice hair style lol). BEN reached at around that time too.

Said hi to HENG WEI in the lab. Waved to LIN FENG and ALVIN. Talked to WEIYA. Saw TUCK LENG in the lab too.

Met JARROD for tennis. CHRIS came along. ZUN ZIN reached at 5+. Met some new TIG people (forgot most of their names already!).

But I just managed to remember DORCAS from SDE.

ANXIANG called out to me, on his way out of NUS after a quiz.

WEIMIN called out to me on his way to the rock climbing gym.

Talked to LIN LEE on the bus. She is going for PhD at MIT after graduation! Talked to CAIQUN on the bus. She intro-ed her bf, er… what's his name again…. why I keep forgetting… damn…

JUNWEI tapped my shoulder while boarding 143. Saw CHEE MENG at the interchange after the bus left.

Easily more than 18 people. Hmm… What's happening today? Saw so many people? Lol. Did I miss out any I wonder? Hmm…

Missing Things

So, did I lend them, or did I give them away?

I have a list of missing things. Here are some that I remembered.

  • Mitch Albom books
  • An electromagnetics textbook
  • A blue windbreaker

I guess it's been long enough. Been a nice guy long enough.

That's it.

It's Early Weekend!

Yeah it's weekend!

Yay.

Duhz.

Was in school the whole day yesterday. Went to collect back the W850i after my swim at bb pool, before heading to school. Did FYP, went to check my EE4411 quiz result, and back to FYP till 5+. And then, went to arts for coffee break, and to SRC for a short tennis play, and back to arts again for BK dinner. I just love tendergrill when I do not feel like eating beef. Yummy. Things that I find yummy, I will not hesitate to eat without complains.

So fun hor…

And then, stayed till 10+ there. Ok la, place was not crowded, and I had my laptop with me.

And then, went home alone lor. It's some sad reality, but what's the big deal about it? Lol. The bus sure was crowded. And pretty babes here and there too. It's never really bad to take buses. It has the potential to see what's happening in the public.

And Thursday was Total FYP Day. Had a discussion to iron out some minor issues, and then it's back to freeze at the lab. Went to check the other EE4411 paper, and I just happened to score 5 marks more than the other paper that I have checked yesterday. Back to lab till 5+, and then played the bus game at Clementi after taking 96 from SDE. 183 came, and that meant no shopping. Lol. Dinner and home. Alone la.

Lalala… ok back to TV.

This is TRAVEL

Sometimes, bus transfers are so smooth, you don't even have a chance to fall asleep at bus stops.

Today was a travelling day for me. In the morning, I travelled to NUS. In the afternoon, I travelled to NTU. Duhz. NUS was the usual route: 143 + 183 to engin. Saw xinli at the usual place. Then saw yingfong. Then went for lecture with ben.

After lecture, went to strangle xinli for fun before going over to pavilion for, er, lunch with ben. At least it's still edible. But really, who will have appetite after being served by people who were like, half dead, black faces, and totally unmotivated to sell their food?

Went up to pc cluster. Saw tong as usual. Lol… er.. this 1 cannot strangle… other guys, and most prob the bf will come kill me. Wahaha…

Then it's travelling to biz. Had a boring 2 hour lecture, because I was half-dead and also the topic was duhz. I think it rained while the lecture's going on. Hmm.. dunno. Don't really care.

And then, it's travelling to NTU. A2 to comcentre. 96 to Clementi. 154 to Boon Lay. 179 to NTU. So fun hor… no chance to sleep leh.. zzz

And then, I used only 2 minutes to solve the problem.

……

Travel 1 hour, just to solve a problem in 2 minutes? OMG…

I see not much changes in there though. Hmm… Don't care la.

After that, 179 back to Boon Lay, and since 198's full of people, I decided to MRT my way to JE, bought dinner, and 143 home.

So tired, because all the travelling, I did not have any chance to even sleep for a while.

TIRED!!!

And so I shall sleep early once more… Zzz…

Still Tired…

After an early rest, I am still tired..

*yawns*

Stupid hot sun. Made me so tired on the first day of the week. But never mind. Friday's a holiday! Not that it has much effect on me though. It's still a Friday. Lol.

Yesterday's tennis was ok. A bit too hot, after so many days of coldness.

And a thought of having to go NTU to help some guy with his hardware just makes me even more tired. Is debugging that difficult? It's either you get it, or you don't.

Maybe I should try debugging through SMS first. A travel to NTU from NUS is a bit of…. hell.

It's a SPEED Night…

Ok… old song time!

All My True Love

Lol…

And more…

White Love

Ok ok… just one more…

My Graduation

Ok, you know…during the good old days… in school, we were listening to their songs… watching them on TV (internet was a bit limited at that time), and knowing the song's name is "White Love" on hearing "hateshinai"….

Lalala. Here's a link to more information on this disbanded group: http://www.asiafinest.com/japanese/speed.htm.

I remembered that I had some of their songs back then. MP3. But then, they were in my 4gb (I think. It's been ages), 3.5" HDD that does not work anymore. In there, I had so many goodies. Aw. MP3s, and a whole lot of ICQ history! Lol…

But it''s also a good thing if the data is not recoverable by me. Heh… for some reason or another. Hmm…

A Review of Breeks @ Marina Square

Continuing from the previous post, I see a need to write this on a new entry.

Firstly, the ambience. I would say that it is relatively ok, except a bit too noisy. I had to strain my ears to hear whatever people were saying. The place was a bit small, and moving place was not much. I think it was how the people there had chose to arrange the furniture. Could be better.

Secondly, the greetings. I just could not stand the greetings. They were like a totally turn-off. The manager gave a cue, and all the staff had to say something like "welcome to breeks". Hearing that not-that-clear greetings just made me feel unwelcomed actually. And they even had a "good-bye service" for selected customers, because I did not hear that for some, and I did not think for us too.

Maybe, I should say the more postive feedback first.

Thirdly, the food. They were indeed edible, and they were quite fast at serving. I do not have much things to say about this. The portions were ok, enough for me to feel full after that. Food was also hot enough.

The most important point, the service. The junior staff were ok and helpful, except for one strange table arrangement. The tables were rounded, and she suggested putting an extra table that was like a good 15 degrees to the rest of the tables. So strange. She reasoned that was to allow space for movement for the seats behind. There were certainly better ways to do things.

More on the service. For most of the time, my glass of water contained no water. Yes, I had fun playing around with an empty plastic cup, pretending that it was a kaleidoscope, and thinking I was some idiot playing with imaginary dice.

There's even a very interesting point. Ziwei requested for water refill. And then someone came over. She filled up Ziwei's, Zhixiang's, and then went off.

Hello. ARE YOU BLIND TO NOT SEE AN EMPTY GLASS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR @#(*&(^!@ EYES?!

Ok, back to normal blogging.

But it's really bad. I don't like the standard of service. I don't like to have an empty cup. That was not a place worth paying service charge for. We did not anyway. That popular card discount removed it, at least in terms of percentages.

To conclude, if you have a group outing, a birthday celebration, or some other events, I suggest that you go for alternative places. I don't think this place will be suitable. If you can't find any other place, do stay at home instead.
