Me and Weimin took 3 hours to complete it. We left the lab at 1230.

If every lab's like this, I wonder how are we going to fly down to the next lab for the subsequent weeks to come. But I think they have a time limit for the submission of lab reports: by 5pm on the day.

But then, I like hands-on. It allows me to see and touch the equipments. Looking at something real is better than listening to all those theories and remembering them by heart. What for?

Met Emmanuel and Ashley for lunch at Science canteen. She wanted to get some info about laptops, so we accompanied her over to YIH to get some catalogs. There's no more roadshow, but a few of the models were still on display. After that we went back to Science. Me and Emmanuel went for our lecture after that.

Today's Microbes was slightly better. Finally, I am understanding bits of everything. Soon, I will be able to piece them together to form a better picture. I think I lost a piece of my 'summary' somewhere in NUS, or it might be somewhere in my bag or what. Perhaps I will just write another one…

Look into the words. Wow… something that I've tried to write last time. This's better. Maybe, one has to go through it before he has the feeling there. I am not suggesting anything about Jay, and I am not suggesting anything about me also.

What a sad song. About a guy liking a girl, but the girl don't like him. Or maybe that guy has done something that has disappointed the girl. That guy wants to be given another chance, but it looks like he does not have much hope. The guy is sorry for himself, for the sadness that he has caused for both parties. The last phrase… 'if it hurts, forget me…' wow…

I am always attracted to sad songs. Maybe it's because they are usually slow and have nice melodies, even though they often go on a sad tune.

This songs leads me to think about some things…… never mind…

Played bball from 2 to 6! Just played and played, without knowing the time, until we decided to call it a day.

Why I don't run sometimes when playing bball:
(1) No point:
There's no need to run when you realise that no matter how you run, you will still not get the ball.

(2) No need:
The one with the ball is a pro. The ball will sure go in. Or the person, no matter what happens, will not pass the ball.

(3) No hope:
Sure lose the point already. No use chasing after the person when he is already a distance from you, and the person's acceleration's 20, and yours, 10.

(4) No look:
Some people play with their eyes somewhere. On the ball, on the opponents but not on his own team mates. So why bother to run when he can go and fight it out himself?

Basically, all the reasons are linked here and there.. Because of no need, so no look, therefore no point, then when the ball don't go in, no hope. There's more…

Tomorrow's the start of Week 4. Hmm.. maybe I should start my own calendar here. Then I will know what week it is, what day, do what,… think big, but the making is hard…

Anyway, I am still doing to ELove Blogs thing. Currently, I only have 3 users, or guinea pigs. One is a recently-started blog, one is converted from another source (proud of that. I actually did it! All entries!), and one's this. Forgotten all those nice little functions I have created to make life easier, so I have to spend some time 'revising' my own work.

Was looking at the EE tutorial too. See stars over my so-called favourite subject. Basically what the lecturer taught cannot be used simply on the questions. Simply don't understand, even after going through the notes. That might be the reason why the lecture group's getting smaller every week…

Just came back from Yishun. We had a little camp dinner at a kopitiam near Yishun Central. Ordered lots of delicious food. Quite happy, although some people did not turn up, especially one whom we cancelled the planned outing last week because of him.

After that dinner, we went to North Point. We ate ice cream at Swenson's! Jianliang had the ability to get 20% discount for a cake, 'cos this month's his birthday. Cookies and cream… mMMMmmm mini oreos.. cherries, apricots… got fries and calamari rings too… yummy…

Quite tired actually, but not ready to sleep yet.

Came online and got flooded with icq and msn messages. Have to settle them.

Finally decided to work on Project ELove again! I have to add another little section in: Elove Blogs. This is to integrate the blogs together into one main account. For easy maintenance, and also for the start of my wide-spread services next time.

And I still want my Birthday Alerts.

After looking at C code and PHP code, I think that over the years, all programming codes grow more and more clever! From C, we still need to declare what type of data a identifier carrys, but for other languages such as PHP, there's no need, and types can be changed halfway through. Maybe that's one difference between compiled and run-time languages? I don't know.. maybe…

Should I dive deep into C? I don't want… I see how…

A missing day. Missed the bus, nearly missed the class room, missed setting up Adobe Photoshop on my laptop, missed EE self revision. What am I doing…

Maybe somehow got influenced by Jia Hui's theory of the redundance of thinking and the needlessness of schoolwork/exams … have been thinking about that. Or maybe, don't think too much is better… SG is a lightning-prone land… hahaha…

Something's missing in the theory too… I just don't know what it is… hmm… maybe, using the word 'torture' will be better. The front's done. TORT, the E is there. Now to fill in UR. That will be perfect… lol

Yeah! Finally got my mobile MSN to work on my pocket pc! Have to install a newer version, as Microsoft says.

Wow… the programming lab was not that bad after all. At least I know what's happening, somehow. There are some other commands that I am still not quite sure about, but I guess that's a very small problem.

The biology lecture has improved! At least now I was able to understand much of what the lecturer was talking about. There were some question marks along the way, but with careful listening, I managed to erase some of those. It's getting fun! Interesting…

Had my little lunch – a sandwich and a cup of coffee, during the biology lecture! No time! I think this will be the way I am going to survive when the 'best timetable' comes along 2 weeks later – from 9 to 6 non-stop labs and lectures and tutorials. Quite shiok also. From programming lab, walk over to science canteen, buy, and walk to LT26 next to it. So near…

Going to NUS later for a tutorial. Yes. 1! From 2 to 3! What to do… that's my timetable… busy like hell for the first 3 days, slack like siao for the rest of the week.

Was reading Wednesday's newspaper when I came across a Fujitsu advertisement in the Computer Times Comex write-up. My laptop costs around more than $3000! And the Pocket LOOX's $1100+! Wow…

Someone asked me to put in my birthday information in BirthdayAlarm.com. That reminded me of Project ELove, which I had somehow 'abandoned' when the semester started. Where's my ELove Alerts? Where's my ELove Diaries? Where's everything? zzz. I shall try to work on it soon…

Actually finished the web assignment for Physics and tried out tutorial 2 of Maths! Why am I so free today? Maybe good mood = higher efficiency. What caused the good mood? Must be the afternoon rain…..

Well, played tennis this afternoon. Or should I say, attempted to play tennis. I still need lots of tennis catching up. It's quite fun I must say. Spent lots of time picking up balls actually.

And after that, we decided to make every Tuesday our Sports Day. Next week is going to be badminton. We have even booked the courts! This is great. Free usage of facilities. Don't waste it.

Another 6pm day tomorrow. Wonder why did I torture myself by choosing a module that finishes at 6pm on Wednesday…

Nevermind. This semester only.

Today’s the first day for tutorials! Guinea pigs for tutorials as we were the very first few classes having them today. Not one, but 2! Maths and Physics. Although I still have some question marks unanswered after the 2 sessions, I think I will eventually iron them out as soon as possible.

At least now, I know what tutorials are about. Roughly, anyway.

Today’s lectures. As usual, was seeing stars over Maths. I am 99.99% sure that every other people were, too. Programming was better. C is not a very clever language, though. So far, the syntax, the operators, all are somehow similar to JavaScript and PHP, so it’s not that hard for me to understand how it works. Don’t like the way about declaring variable types, but what to do… that’s the language’s style…

Just realised that I have not update this yet, so here I am, attempting to update using My Pocket PC.

Tried to do the tutorials again just now. Managed to solve another physics question. Yeah! 2 out 5! Crap…

Nothing much for a lazy Sunday. Went to the supermarket with my dad to do some grocery shopping in the morning. After that, I went for the usual bball game at JE. today's very short, even though we had 10 people. We only played around 5 games, and that was all for the day.

Been trying to finish off the E-Prep thing, but the way the lectures are being given, I think I will fail the quiz even if I have looked at every single slide. The speech was soft. Sometimes the speaker said the wrong things, and there's repetitions for some things which I thought was some error. And the great thing was, when they shifted their servers, my previous test record was erased! Yeah, E-Prep… I think NSFs just save that money up, or go spend that money on something more useful, like a book, or some food… If you wanna E-Prep, hope you choose the correct course to enroll in…

Attempted to do my tutorials just now! It was like, well, what did the question want? How to do? Seeing stars here and there… It's normal for me. I am in uni not as an expert, but as an idiot who does not know anything. If I can solve all the questions, I think I can just skip tutorial classes and go on and get another degree part-time… lol

Been playing with my wireless connection too. Now, I have a total of 3 computers using 1 broadband connection. No, I don't use them simultaneously. No point, as the bandwidth will be shared among them. While attempting to connect to MSN Messenger on LOOX, it gave me an error message saying that the program was not compatible or something similar. So how did the program get in there if it's not compatible? Strange…

Think I shall just go and finish my the book I've been reading… it's been a long time, and I think Monday's the deadline! The consequences for being kiasu, borrowing 2 books one shot…

Going off to bed soon, most probably. No starhub subscription = no cable TV = no soccer to watch = nothing to do… zzz
