If you are proposing to your girlfriend in France or what, please, don’t put it in November, or any day near the year end. Unless, you are planning for a wet wet proposal. LOL.

Eiffel Tower is really a fascinating  monument. It’s amazing how the technology level of 100 years ago managed to finish a job of this difficulty.

Actually, it’s not only the Eiffel Tower. Almost all the different monuments in Paris. How did they do them???

Opps. It looks like I have stopped working! Lol but indeed I have stopped working, for the weekend. I am currently blogging this from my bed, in Holiday Inn Hotel Montparnasse-Maine, in Paris! Lol…

Paris is quite a nice place. The transport is quite straight forward too! Been visiting the hot places. We bought the day tour bus tickets, which brought us to most of the well known tourist attractions. Haven’t been up the Tour Eiffel yet. Weather’s not been tame lately…

Time to sleep. Nite nite…

Alright, I know I am supposed to post update on the actual day, but then, somehow, I forgot…

And so, this is a make-up post. LOL.

Day 2 was kind of a gloomy day. It rained, and rained, and rained… Nevertheless, we still had our work to do, still had our shopping to do, car to collect, lunch and dinner to eat…

Lunch was at Flunch. Yeah. Flunch for lunch! LOL!!!

And then, we went to Carrefour to do some stock-up of food and clothes, etc.

Dinner was at Le Tonkinois, a vietnamese-style restaurant somewhere near our hotel. LOL.

And then, we had the usual work discussions, etc…

Coming here is not all about play ok, work too!

Hmm… went to work on Day 2, which is Work Day 1. Not bad, so far, except that the work place is COLD!

I really need more powerful work clothes to survive these 3 weeks. Imagine wearing whatever I have now, and going out for testing. I think I will freeze. The key is not the environmental temperature. The important thing is the wind chill…

Ate lunch at site. Quite yummy, even though expensive. 3 + 3 (entrance fee) euros. Duhz.

Dinner was at some restaurant, eating some pizza. I have not start to take note of french restaurant names yet. So, for now, it’s gonna be some place, eating some food, and  buying some things… LOL.

Sunday’s lunch was pizza too! And then Sunday’s dinner was at this chinese restaurant that sells vietnamese food too. LOL. Pho!

Went Carrefour just now, to buy some yummy things. Actually, did not buy much. Just a few bottles of water, some beer, some biscuits, some fruits…

Ok, it’s almost 6am liao. I still have 1 more hour to 7. Breakfast is at 8.

Still waiting for the back pain to ease a bit. When that happens, I will really be holidaying here…

Shit… LOL.

Or should I just use the french way: merde…

Yes, I am in Brest, France, now.

Just touched down in Brest at 11.30am local time.  It is cold here. But I quite like the coldness. Just that, it can get quite cold…

Oh well.

The 14-hour flight to CDG really hurt my back. Shit. I guess I am going to take some time recovering.

The effects of playing squash. Shit.

Anyway, it was OK on board the A380. It just kind of sucks for me, with my back pain. Damn.

Complains, complains, complains…

I shall try not to carry too much heavy stuffs.

I shall try not to be working in strange postures.

I shall try not to stretch too much.

I shall try not to think about the pain.

I shall try to be optimistic about what I can do.

I shall enjoy.

Went for a swim yesterday afternoon, at clementi! Shiok arrrr… swam a bit, looked around, swam more, stoned, etc. Hahaha… It’s not everyday that you get that kind of space in swimming pools, even though, as the time neared 4.30pm, more and more people arrived.

By that time, I already left. LOL.

Initial plan was walk to take a look at koi cafe, but I did not know why, the plan changed automatically to become hot fudge sundae. Zzz. And then, walked back to AYE to take 97 to vivo.

Reached vivo at 5pm. Too early!!! Walked around, looking, stoning, etc.

And then, dinner was at Asian Kitchen, with joan and co.

And then, home lor.

If thinking don’t solve the problem, the next best solution will be forgetting about it.

Yes! Finally, it’s COMPLETED! During the celebration on Thursday, some guy said we are FINISHED… we nearly wanted to strangle him. LOL.

We are not FINISHED (yet). We have COMPLETED. LOL. Note the difference.

Anyway, yeah, since things are done, the next things to do are to revert back to whatever we have been doing all these times.Or rather, what I have been doing all these times.

And that will be STONE.

Uninstallation was like lightning. We managed to complete the uninstallation by lunch time. And then, we went out and had Fish and Co for lunch. Swordfish collar!!! Yum. We had lunch till around 2+pm, then we realised the time. LOL.

Relaxing time passes really quickly eh?

Went over to IMM after work. I was too lazy to go around suggesting where to go. And maybe a little bit too tired due to working in the sun in the morning. Had dinner at Ichiban.

This was the first time I ever ate so little at Ichiban.

I wondered why.

Yeah. Maybe I was really tired.

Anyway, today’s the last day for the reward card. Mine was cleared yesterday. No. That card was not the one with the free 6 chops.

Went to Peninsula Shopping Centre this afternoon. Spent around 15 minutes to half an hour looking at guitars. Started with a basic beginner acoustic guitar which was $125, with things like pick, pitch pipe, etc. The sound was not bad actually. And then, I saw one with built-in mic. $145. Tried that too, and found that the sound was a bit lower, but still, not bad.

In the end, I got that. Nice.

Met Eddy at Funan. McDonald’s. And then went down to Harbourfront to meet Zhiwei. Ate at a Vietnamese restaurant while exchanging our Vietnam photo collections. And then, took cab to Jurong Point. And then, walked around, and then took MRT to JE.

Bought a little bit of food home. That’s about it.

I am too sianz to go too much into details.

Went over to IKEA this afternoon to get back my laptop power adaptor. I have left it at the ballroom yesterday. LOL. I think just now was their first breakfast/lunch/brunch/whatever as Mr and Mrs Feng. Wahahaha…

Actually, nothing much has changed. We already take them as Mr and Mrs Feng long ago.

I thought I saw a friend. Tried calling. No answer. Tried Whatsapp. No reply.

Friend that does not even bother to reply something. Friend that does not even bother to call back.

Is that really a friend, I wonder? Can I still say, he/she is my friend? Maybe he/she does not regard me as a friend anymore, due to time, etc.

My definition of friend. Once again. It does not matter how long we have been apart, as long as we still keep in touch once in a blue moon. Not just one side. Both sides. I had enough of one sided contacting methods. It’s tiring. Sometimes, it makes me wonder, am I the only one alive and bother? And sometimes, I start the contacting so often that, I think I am a pain in the ass.

Yeah.

Be it MSN, Skype, email, SMS, phone calls, whatsapp, tango, and whatever you can think of.

Some friends don’t even bother to say hi.

And I grew tired of sending ‘ping messages’ that do not get replied.

I grew sick.

I hate it.

Anyway, met Chris and Ben Onn at Queensway after that. Shopping for squash rackets. LOL. Suddenly into squash? Maybe? Actually I did play squash before, but not much. Not pro. Still stuck at beginner level. Heh.

I bought a Head Youtek Anion 135, strung with Head Evolution Pro 16.

Sounds pro enough. LOL.

And then, due to the rain, we went to NUS squash courts. So lucky, 1 court was empty, but the lights were on. Heh. Went in and play. Shiok arrrrr….

I love my racket.
