This latest album from MayDay just feels different. I don't know how to describe, but, from the first song, from the first time I played the CD, it just feels so different.

Ok, it's official. I need a new camera.

Even though I cannot anyhow take photos at work, I think I will still need 1 good camera. Not too high-end, but acceptable standard and not too bulky, yet not too small. 1 thing for sure: it has to have wide lens. It has to support standard AA batteries too, besides lithium-ion ones.

And so, I list out the requirements (wah.. sounds like some requirement specification. Lol)

• at least 7MP
• wide-angle lens with at least 3x optical zoom
• uses SD card or equivalent
• supports Li-ion and alkaline batteries
• ISO setting at least up to 1600
• fast start-up
• fast-speed shots
• display screen at least 2"

Hmm… that's about all I guess.

Why do I need a new camera?

• The old one has been cranky for quite some time
• routine upgrade season
• to take some high-resolution shots of places and scenes
• to take a new picture for my blog
• to have fun
• to get out of home and do some photo-taking outdoors if I cannot find anyone to go out with
• to show people what is photography (as if. lol)

Ok, I think I have other things to do for now. Wait till Sitex at the end of this month, then I see how.

Ok, did the theory test today at SP. got out before 1/2 hr had past.

And got 30/30. Wahaha…

The other 3 passed too! Yayy…

Our practical test will be on 29 November. Heh heh…

Actually, I was on leave on Friday. Lol. But I still went back to AMK to get something out of office. In the end, I stayed till 6pm, and then went Jalan Kayu for dinner… lol…

Ok, Friday noon, I went back to NUS, to shake Prof Lawrence's hand. Got the cheque from him, and took some photos. I have not gotten the photos yet. Maybe they forgot. Lol. Or maybe they are too sux to be sent. Wahahah…

Hmm.. 5th prize… and have to take photo… Hmmm… what's in for the first prize? 10 course dinner? wahaha…

I was early. And as I was standing outside ECE office, thinking of going to find Prof Xu for a short chat, he appeared! Lol… talked to him for a while. He looked busy. Heh.

Mr Jalil was the photographer! Yeah he still remembered me. Lol. Then the other guy came also. Then Masita went to get Prof Lawrence. Shook hands, took photos. The end. Heh. Fast.

Saw Prof Sada walking past too. Waved at him. Lol…

Hmmm.. Dily's had a little bit of a change of pattern. They changed their display shelf! Heh. The aunties are still the same. Hmmm…. Bought Apom Balik as usual. Lol… Had a little walk around, and then off I went to NUH.

And Dr Ong had gone into private practice! Not as if NUH Dental Centre is not private in the first place. Lol. Ok he went out of NUH Dental Centre. Aw… And I got another doctor. I forgot her name. Lol…

Ok, time to sleep…. zzz.. back to work… a whole list of things to settle… a lot more headaches… Wahaha…

Hmm.. I was too lazy to update for the last 2 weeks. Basically, I have forgotten what had happened. Lol.

On Friday, we went over to Jalan Kayu for the second time in a month for dinner. Ate prata, what else. Lol…

Saturday was Sentosa zzz day, with everyone busy, and sleepy and yet wanted to go and ended up late even when the meeting time was 9.30am. Went in, played a bit, and got out. Boring. Went over to IMM after lunch at Seah Im, and bought things like no body's business. Bought the present that has been requested by someone (we are playing Santa Claus game within our team at ST, I cannot say the name, otherwise, it will be so no-fun), a 2GB micro SD card-cum-thumbdrive, JJ's CD, Indiana Jones DVD, some stuff from Guardian, and almost wanted to get a Zen Stone Plus.

I am still thinking, did I left my m:robe cable in the office? If I did not, that's it.

I still have not open up JJ's album. Heh…

Went for tennis this afternoon. Went to collect my N Pro Open in before that. And the strings on the RQiS 1 Tour broke today. Zzzz… That means that I have to go restring the racket one fine day. Duhz. And also, some people are just out to make others DL, by allowing us to play on the court, and then after 5 minutes, getting it back. WTF agree to let us play in the first place?

And I absolutely hate it when new balls start going missing for no apparent reason.

So, in this world, there are self-less people, and there are selfish people. There are more people of the latter type.

Read today's ST. They interviewed someone regarding the current economy. There's this 'lucky girl' that got $500/month for pocket money since secondary school, and planning to spend $4k on a bag with her first paycheck, and thinking that the current problem will not affect her expenditure.

WTH.

And there's one more part, regarding her friend who plans to work part-time to earn money while studying. She commented why not she just ask for the money from parents.

WTH.

Are we, the post-65s, so brainless, so useless, so helpless, so protected, so sheltered, so pampered, so disgusting, so arrogant, so WTH?

I hope not. At least not for most of us.

I don't anti people for being born with a silver spoon in his/her mouth. What I can say is, well, you can have a better life. Please do not abuse that.

But the above case, isn't that a bit over? It's really a WTH case.

There are some old tunes that I have, that I will not forget. Hmm… and now, I do not have the midi connection to my PC, as my PC's dead.

Dead since long ago.

But the music still goes on.

And I still think that tune is nice.

And of course, I am making some modifications to the tune, to make it better, if not worse.

It's supposed to be filled with sad lyrics. Lyrics about chances. Lyrics about missing them. Lyrics about something. Maybe the outcome will be nice. I don't know.

That tune has been around since 2003 anyway. It's been 5 years. Heh.

Maybe I did post the initial lyrics somewhere up here last time. Maybe. It's an IDEA anyway.

I think I know what I am going to write. Hmm. I think so.

Yes! Went to Sentosa! Today, we had ben, edwin, weimin, junrong, grace, edric, ruifu, zhenyao,eddy, and yinghao! Did I miss out anyone?

See… no matter how far in advance things are planned, it always end up having ONE SINGLE GIRL. What the hell? I trying so hard to get girls to come, and yet, this is what she gets? Being the only girl there?

Unacceptable.

But girls, some of them like to ps at the last minute. You cannot stop them from doing so.

Even some guys I know do that.

So, for every Sentosa trip, for every outing, when people ask me, who's going, my reply will always be the same: the usual people. What for telling people who's going, and end up they are not there?

Ok, let's see how many kindergarten friends I have that I can easily contact…
