Finally, I can start on my Friends and Calendar section together! Then I can start to do my own Calendar Announcements stuff… I have already finalized certain things after testing out various settings. Currently, I can click on the ‘Open Folder’ button at the Blog Editor to open a popup window to access My Files, browsing and uploading files as I write. At the same time, I went to disturb Eddy regarding some long-lost pics that were with him. And here’s 2 of them, taken on Sentosa’s skytrain, during some 3DA celebration I think.

Went to PS for Lao Beijing! The dim sum was ok, but not much variety. Can’t expect much when each of us paid only around $16 for the buffet high tea… After that, we went walking around, looking at stuff. I saw a New Balance windbreaker!!! Wow!!! But I am still keeping my options open for more designs before I decide on the final purchase…

I had more things to say, but I think, I need sleep… zzz …

Went for bball with Dennis at Queenstown CC. Too early, perhaps, and there were not much people. Hot too. Quite a nice court, but it’s too quiet…

Yeah, it’s always been Dennis coming down. It’s only fair that we go up sometimes. Wait, there’s no ‘we’. Ok, ‘I’.

It rained at 4pm. We decided to go Queensway Shopping Centre to jalan jalan after the rain stopped. Nothing much for me to buy, or I did not want to buy anything. After a snack at Mac, we went home. I should have ran for the bus. In the end, I waited for around 20 minutes for 197, and I had to stand all the way from Queensway to Jurong Town Hall Road before I could finally get a seat. I don’t know why, but they like to send out single deck buses during peak hours. They really like people to be packed like sardines…

I am definitely doing nothing much at home… I have finished the menu for Blogs, and somehow, I like it very much, so, I am not going to touch on it any time soon. Going on to work on Boards. Hopefully, I can finish 3 more by Sunday.

Usually, when I set targets, I don’t seem to meet them, so,… heh heh…

Did a cupboard check yesterday. Found some strange and interesting shirts.

This 1 is the sec1 orientation T-shirt that I got for being a kaypoh (hey, not that I wanted to be kaypoh, but they arrowed me to do it… had since lost contact with all my group members… must finding them back is not hard at all. I am just lazy…). The front still looks ok, so let’s take a look at the back:

A dinosaur??!!! I remembered Mr Yong and/or Mr Oh claiming that to be a chicken… Who’s the designer???

Next was this Dragon Shirt. Delta Platoon T-Shirt, BMTC1.

Nice nice, I think. I can’t believe it. Last time, I could actually fit into this shirt… The size? S. Yeah, S for small… During that time, most of us bunk mates decided that we should be able to fit into S, and we all bought S… And this’s the back look:

I had a dark colour one, which I will wear to school sometimes, to show off dragon power… Hmm.. crapp…

Next is the Engin Shirt…

Till now, I still do not know what the word in the center means. I have not worn this shirt for a long long time. 1 thing is there it’s not really nice material, and the other thing is regarding the back:

And I found a pair of black pants among the shirts! Should not have bought that black pants for IEIQC! Now I have lots of black pants. But then, I need a new pair of jeans… Anyone interested in GSS “shop-like-crazy”?

Haha… thinking of it, if ONE FINE DAY I can fit nicely back into that Dragon shirt…. I can wear that shirt now, but then I have to hold my breath and tuck in my stomach and all that crap stuff to look thinner…. oh well I AM FAT…

No calls from anyone. Meaning? I am unemployed next week too.

Saw Dennis online this afternoon. He said he's sian, and I am sian also, so I suggested bball. Initially at Clementi, but we ended up back at JE, as a tour of Clementi's bball courts got our 100% certification of CMI. Not a bad choice to head back to JE though. We played till around 7.30pm! Nice game though. Maybe having at least a girl inside the game made a little difference? No? Hmm…

Anyway, the people who were recalled: Dennis, Victor and me. As for Zhenyao, he was AWOL in bed, so too bad…

I wonder why. In all my groups of friends, where are all the bball siao girls???????? Bball siao girls are quite hard to find…

Anyway, the ???? were there just now. They came at around 6 I think. And they waited, and waited, and waited…. and our game still did not end…. Hahahaha…. Too bad, the rim at other half of the court was broken by some slam dunk kid who might be overweight…

This is what I call bball. Yeah bball. I need jumping improvements.. Hmm.. and some normal shooting. I have enough skills on my ??? already. Why leh? Is spinning the ball horizontally instead of vertically that hard? Hmm…

Besides this bball session, I did nothing today. The morning weather prevented me from going for a swim. So I rotted at home till 2.30pm, and went out for bball. That was all for today.

Is this life, or is this not? Maybe, I should get myself a bball (again). No bballs dropped from the sky in February, so I guess a bball will have to drop out from my pocket again… I don't really like rubber balls, as they are super bouncy, and super hard! Just now, a group of CSS people and NHSS people were using a rubber ball, which was the same model that was being given by one sports shop (I forgot the name) when someone signs up as a member. Hard and bouncy… I tried to siam a direct hit. That CSS guy attracted the balls to him, as the balls kept landing on him. I wonder why…

Now I have a really big problem. How do I make the menu for My Area look nicer? As in, how to make it more user-friendly? Should Blogs, Boards, Files, Calendar, etc, be under My Area, or should they be separate items on their own? Or, those member-related pages will use a certain navigation method, while other pages with non-member functions will use another? How to make it look nice? Hmm…

Try my luck tomorrow again. I shall draw it out…

Went for a swim at Bukit Batok. Not much people there, but there's definitely more people who like to swim the breadth of the pool. I have to slow down, speed up, and even stop once, to siam them. No collisions. Safety first. Crapp… But then, the sun was really strong, and Eddy was there with his suntan lotion, while me and Zhenyao talked crap in the pool. Did not ask the rest, or did not want to. It was quite a last minute decision to swim. I decided to at 9am.

After that, Eddy and I went to Westmall to have BK. Then we went jalan jalan around, then went over to IMM to jalan jalan more. Nothing for me to buy. Still looking for a replacement windbreaker/jacket. GSS, must grab the chance before it's gone…

Plans for tomorrow? See how… I have another mail to settle. Hmm… Hopefully, this one won't end up back in my mailbox, like the previous one. This one is cheaper to send too… wait… maybe more expensive… hahaha… aiyo…

I think, I shall sleep early tonight! Yeah… early by a bit.

Better than nothing.

Just reached home around half an hour ago. I went out, back to Expo actually, for walk walk in Hall 6 and level 2. Level 6 was disappointing. Nothing much. The things looked the same to me, and there was nothing that managed to interest me. Or rather, interest me a bit, but did not have the urge to buy it. Must be the hours of standing… Sportslink sale was nothing much also. Nothing that I wanted to buy… in the end, I walked out of Expo empty-handed.

Took the MRT with Eddy to AMK. Saw Zhenyao and (oh no I forgot her name again… let me think…) on the MRT! They boarded the train at Bugis. Went shopping I guessed. Anyway, we were supposed to meet Jian Liang, Zhiwei and Ho for dinner at Chomp Chomp. This was the first time most of us were there. Nothing much also actually. Lots of stores selling the same seafood, same satay, same drinks… The only problem was choosing which store to try out. The stingray was not bad. So was satay. And the lime was really a large mug! $3.50 though. Ex… Spent $16 each…

After that, we took the bus back to AMK. Very ?, as there was a group of girls who took the same bus as us to Chomp Chomp, ate at 2 tables in front of us at the food centre, and took the same bus as us back to AMK! Hmmm… Anyway, we took MRT to Orchard, supposedly to watch a movie, but the tickets were sold out. We changed our plan to Swensen's, but there's a long queue outside. We tried our luck at Coffee Bean, but there's no seats. We went up to Coffee Club, but it's closed for the day. In the end, we had cake (Sumatra, I think. Black and white chocolate cake) at Bakerzin (is it spelt that way? Dunno… Hmm… the 1 at Paragon). Nice! Reminded me of the white chocolate cake I had at NYDC a few years back… Hmm.. very sweet though, and they did not provide us with plain water…

Went home after that. I decided to take 143. Saw a school mate (secondary) on the bus. I think it's her (if not, it would be her sis…), sitting at the back, but we don't really know each other, so I did not talk to her. She managed to wake up before her stop. Haha… and I managed to stay awake from Pandan onwards…

Got a pink slip (CN 15) on an envelope. Looks like something's wrong somewhere… oh well, mission failed then…

Today (Or yesterday, since it’s past 12) was Day 4 at Expo. It was quite a nice day actually. This time I became smarter a bit, as I wear a t-shirt under my long sleeve shirt. It was a cold day. Lots of powerful aircon. Quite little people initially, but more people subsequently. Standing at level 2 was better than standing at level 1, as I could pop my head into the conference halls to see what the presenters were talking about, even though I did not understand.

Ok time to name all of them here, those who managed not to get “sacked” for the whole event, ladies first: Veranne (The boss), Ke Ren, Amanda, Cindy, Rui Zhi, Paul, Joseph, Michael, Eddy, and me! No pics for this! Phone cannot be used to take a good group photo.

What a way to end an assignment. I think I am going to miss them… Oh well… Hope we will meet again for the next assignment, if fate allows. Anyway, I have their contacts! Yay… My favourite job: collection of contact information. That’s my aim for ELove in the first place…

But then, my mind is still at Expo… so fun, the Thais and an UAE guy. He showed me and Ke Ren a realplayer clip on his handphone. It’s a chimpanzee drinking his own pee!!! Ahhh!!! And this morning he told us “time for bed” as he went into the conference hall, as the talks were sometimes really sleep-inducing. There’s a Thai who’s very friendly, even though we had a few communication problem. But there’s one thing for sure that I got it correct. He greeted me in Thai tonight, and I returned his greetings the Thai way! Yeah, the Thais are very particular with greetings, I can feel that. Culture. And how I wished I know more Cantonese, so that I can talk to the Hong Kong people. Anyway, it’s really a nice experience working with Spring and CityNeon and the people, including telling people that the Hi5 ticket is at the other end, and Hall 6 is “go straight and turn left, and walk all the way”…

Today's day 3! I woke up at 5.15am in the morning! *yawns* even though I slept at around 11 the night before. At least this time, there's seats for me all the way to Expo. Good.

Today's multi-tasking day! Morning was a coolie, bringing down the bags, a while later was a registration usher, stopping people and asking for their name cards or names, then was a traffic usher, pointing the way to Exhibition Hall 3, where lunch was held at, then was a conference usher, opening of conference room doors and answering tough questions (the listening was tough…), then was a timer, ringing a bell at 15, 17 19 and 20 minutes of talks… what else leh… hmm…

Quite fun. At least not standing downstairs for the whole day. Got to talk lot with the rest. Talk crap, whatever. Too bad no cam for this month… Can't ask Eddy to bring, because he will surely say “for f***??!”

We had a few extra helpers for today, who were “retrenched” with 4 old ones at 2pm, as there's no need for that much manpower around. Veranne has not retrench me (yet, because I did not volunteer myself to be retrenched. Our retrenchment system is, “who wants to be released, put up your hands.”), and so I will have another day of Expo tomorrow.

A long day. 8am to a proposed 8pm. 12 hours. Meaning? I will not be able to check my results at 3pm tomorrow. Not much hope also.

It's been snowing lately over at Belief. Perhaps snow will bring me new hope. Nowadays, the rain decided to take time off. When I want it to rain (like today), it did not, and when I did not want it to rain (like Sunday), it did…

Oh well…

Today was an OK day, except for the sleepless night (due to trying to sleep too early, and trying to wake up too early), and the sleepy trip (same reason). The day's stuffs are still managable. But then, who likes to stand from 9am to nearly 5pm, doing nothing else except for looking here and there, seeing parents and maids (yeah, maids) bringing children to see Hi5? They made me want to see Hi5 also, but then…. ok forget it! Duhz..

Tired legs, and back aching from standing too much. Too old already! And the trip back from Expo, how about standing all the way from the origin to the destination? So many people! Wrong timing maybe. UOL examinations people released, Hi5 concert released, and we released. And including working people who were on their way home, the train was really full house…. Ahh!!! Stand! When I would have preferred to have a seat to zzzzzzzzz…

Tomorrow's another standing day. Oh well… Everyday's a standing day…

As for our boss, Veranne (Ver-anne). She's good to us (erm, except for the long standing hours…). Yeah, I prefer to work with nice bosses (so far)… hahaha…

I have to put HS System on hold for at least 5 days. Not free. My time to wake up is going to be exactly the same as the time when I was having 8am lectures: 6am. And what that means? I have to sleep really early, wake up very early, and travel from west to east.

Singapore Expo job: for IEIQC. Type that in a search engine and it should return you the full name of that.

Today's what I call “shit job”. Packing and re-packing and arranging. So many bags: Around 400 I think. And Eddy and I has to follow the delivery van all the way from Expo to Genting Lane to collect more stuff. Ok job, but sweat like hell. The driver, I think, was from Initial D. Haha… but then he deliver boxes of stuff, not toufu… Did not expect everything to end at 9pm though. I missed 7pm and 9pm show!!! Oh man… And missed so many goodies at food fair. The only lobang we found was the tau sa piah, buy 10 get 10 free. $3. Too bad we did not buy any for Jianliang. Too badzzzzzzz.

No laksa, no mee suah, no everything. All sold out. So sad… Aw….

I've really been jumping around on HS System. Today, I've decided to jump to Member Password Reset. Completed it, and solved a stupid bug on email sending, which left me with question marks, and took me almost 3 hours… Wasted quite a lot of time here, and I still do not know why. Never mind, so far so good, as it works…

That sudden afternoon rain spoiled bball session, and I was stranded at home, doing nothing else except for playing Winning Eleven, watching TV, and working on HS System. What a way to use up a Sunday… definitely not my preferred way. My way will be, killing off basketball players with my ?? shots and work out some sweat and burn off some skin….

This's the week when the results will be released. Not looking forward to it. And not expecting too good a result. I just hope I can clear all the modules. This sem has been quite low on luck, so… heh heh… *close eyes*… Anyway, I don't think I will be around to check the results at 3pm on Thursday. But then again, I don't know… Tides come and go, plans change and morph…

Tomorrow's Monday… Another week… Another week of thinking and dreaming… And I am really behind my plans on HS System… …
