Went for my dental today! Dr Ong took only 10 minutes I think. And without his assistant around! His assistant came in just before I got up and rinse my mouth. Haha… she was busy somewhere else I guess… My next appointment will be 2 months later. Dr Ong’s taking a 2-week break! Hahaha happy holidays…

Victor was so free that he came over to NUH. He got lost opposite SAJC, and called me for help. Oh well. I’ve got nothing to say. Yeah, gave him a short NUS tour of Engin, a very brief one, by walking from Central Library to EA. Supposed to be meeting someone there, but then, well, it’s a wasted trip. Maybe I should not have gone back to Engin? We spent quite some time waiting for A1 outside the NUH Staff Canteen.

Isn’t that better. Now I have an even more valid reason to “strangle” someone…

After dropping by EA, and after Victor talked to one of the Engin Club Committee who was looking after the bags of those who were dashing madly around Engin and NUS, we left that place. I asked about Chun Jian, and it looked like he’s no where to be found.

Took 188 to CCK to find Jianliang to go to the pasar malam again. While waiting for him, I went in Hang Ten to find Zhonghui. Bought a pair of sandals! Yay! And the price was great! Hahahaa Thanks for that extra discount! It’s good to have friends working in some stores here and there…

If that day, I have not decide to zzz, I would have gone down with him for the interview, and maybe, I would be one of them also. But the thought of working from 10 to 10 just sends me to zzz…

So after that, Jianliang and I took the MRT to Bukit Gombak. Bought food as usual, and also this thing:

It rained in the morning as promised, and it rained through the afternoon! On and off, so irritating, especially when I had a swim schedule. In the end, I met Jianliang at JE, and we went shopping at IMM!

We had LJS for lunch. the chicken and fish are really hot, as they came right off the fryer! It was 11am at that time. After that, we went to Giant and Giordano. Bought some shirt and pants and such stuff. Yay! I love my Giordano Keychain… Hahaha…

Went to take 188 to NUS after that little shopping trip to meet Jiahui to help her get back that original login screen. If anyone doesn't want to log onto NUS Domain, do the following:

1. Right click on “My Computer”. Under Network, choose “Group” instead, and give a group name, ie “MSGROUP”. Restart the computer. This will remove the domain login option.
2. Go to Control panel -> User Accounts, and change the way users log in and out. If it says that some installed program is prevent you from changing this option, and it mentions a file called “iwpdgina.dll”, go to Start -> Run, and type in “regedit” to run the registry editor.
3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, look for the key that is named “GinaDLL”, which should be of type “REG_SZ”, and with the value “iwpdgina.dll”. Delete the whole key. For safety reasons, you might like to copy down that entire key on paper, in case something goes wrong and you have to put it back again.
4. Restart the computer, and you should be able to log into the computer without that login screen, but with that Blue screen with the little icons represent you, which you can click on. After that, you can always go back to Control panel -> User Accounts to set your password, etc.
5. Disclaimer: The above steps are provided “for references”. Readers will be responsible for their own actions should they decide to follow the above steps. The publisher shall not be liable for any damages caused from the above steps.

Anyway, we took a ride on Jiahui's car, and we reached Bukit Batok in about, 10 minutes or less. That's fast, and that's the beauty of having 4 wheels at one's commands. Too bad mine ran off with someone else, who had, just 3 weeks ago, bought a new car…

Yeah, it was drizzling, but Jianliang and I went in anyway. The water was cccc-cold…. But it was a nice swim. Swim and swim, and I think I swam more than 10 today… Cold weather made me want to swim more… Not tired at all… And more people started to come in at around 6pm. And we just sit around, and stare… no… look around… And I saw KS (I think should be KS. After JC, I had lost my skills of telling them apart. It's either KS or JS…) outside the pool, buying the tickets to go in! Oh well… 2 Fairfield guys in a day, at 2 different places, but doing the same activity. Oh well… I was on the phone then, so I could only wave to him…

After the swim, we went over to Bukit Gombak for that pasar malam. Nothing much, but bought some food. Saw something that I would like to buy, but I guess, I shall go back and take a look tomorrow. Let's hope it's still there. I did not have the time to wait just now. Went back to JE by MRT, and after buying dinner, back to home.

Went out at 10.15am, and reached home at 8.15pm. Hmm.. Not that bad…

Tomorrow's 20! Time for another dental appointment with Dr Ong… and those friendly counter staff also. Haha…

Which also means, back to NUS once again. Hmm… My number of trips to that place has been increasing “exponentially” as the week gets nearer…. and nearer… and nearer…. Oh well.. School's starting…

Yeah, electricity got cut off for a while. No, not because there’s some construction going on. And also not because the electricity bill has not been paid. It’s just me… Hahahaa…

Was changing 2 switches in my parents’ room, and I was not going to off the mains, which proved to be a bad decision. No problems with the lighting switch as usual. On opening the 3-pin plug switch, while trying to bend the live wire using pliers, I think I have accidentally made a connection between the live wire and the earth. Fireworks in the room (erm, actually there’s just some sparks ), and all went quiet. My computer and laptop was on in the other room when that happened. The fish tank’s filter and lights went off too. Put it simply, power cut. I looked at the switch. Some parts had turned black. Hahaha…

But this is not the first time that I got the ECB to jump.

So for safety (I still want to continue my course for EE), I worked without electricity around, until the part where I need to drill some holes in the wall to hold the new casing. And finally, it’s done!

The switches looked a bit dirty? Yeah those are my finger prints…. Hahaha…

Oh well, now I can on the fan to cool down…

Just finished a can of Chang Beer a moment ago. Not bad. I think I have finish 6 cans in… 3 months? Yummy…

No.. I am not a beer person. I just opened the fridge and found the last can sitting in there. So I took it out and opened it. I just took a look at my face on the mirror just now. Wow… red eyes, red face. Signs of beer siaoz.

It's easy to know if I have been drinking. Just 1 can. 1 can is enough for me to turn red. But then, due to my darker coloured skin, it's not too obvious in the dark. Last time at AFS (Air Force School), at that time when we had our V200 course, there was a happy hour with free-flow beer. Of course, we did not resist that FOC stuff. Yang Zheng had the most red face! And it's very obvious! Red face, red ears, everything! I drank 2 glasses I think. Social drinker, and quite an “on” ones, not like some other people who would not take even a sip, no matter what. It's not that we were trying to get drunk or what. It's Happy Hour! Sit back, relax, and have fun!

Alright, we got that puzzle correct. We went all the way to East Coast Park. We squeezed through AYE and ECP. We chose the residential carpark and walked over to McDonald's via the underpass. We elbowed through the crowd. And we dropped in our completed puzzle.

And then, Zhenyao and I waited. There was a slight drizzle. But the people kept coming. We hid under a shelter. The queues for food were so long. There's nothing else.

And then, the lucky draw. We could not hear anything. And then we heard the announcement for the Mazda 6 winner. And we left.

Well well… all these in 2 hours. What a morning. I only managed to catch 2 familiar faces. 1 from Engin, 1 from CSS. The rest? I thought I saw a medic who was from my camp…

After that, I went to Bukit Panjang Plaza. For what? For fun. And then I took the LRT to CCK to find Zhonghui who was working at Hang Ten. I just stood at the counter to talk to him, siaming aside only when there's people making payment for their shirts. No I did not buy any. Nothing manage to catch my attention, and most are for females.

After that, I took 188 and switch to 176 to JE, and 143 home.

Like the next line of the song, maybe I need an answer. And answer to so many questions. Undefined questions.

I am beginning to hate talking to certain people on MSN. Sometimes, I just have that sudden impulse to just delete and ignore those people. But I just can't. Why? I don't know.

Do I have to repeat this, but, this is what I have come to realise about receiving MSN replies:

1. Fast repliers on MSN are often singles. Example: JR.
2. Used-to-be-fast repliers become slow-and-no-response repliers when they became attached, or are in the process of. Example: CJ, Mr Law.
3. Fast repliers suddenly become slow repliers when they are trying to avoid answer a question, or are cooking up a valid excuse from another group of friends. Example: (identities withheld)
4. Fast repliers often are on AWAY mode. Example: WM.
5. Slow repliers who become fast repliers often have some hidden agenda. Example: (identities withheld)
6. 5-out-of-10 repliers are those I don't really need to waste my time on. Example: (identities withheld)

I don't care what reason people have… they are none of my business. Be it viruses, trojans, hard disk failures, screen shutdown, MSN crashes, power failures.

Why am I so pissed? Why? Because I have been waiting the whole night for someone to appear, and yet where is he??!

Less and less people for bball…

Nowadays, my stupid internet connection keeps on disconnecting me from the rest of the world. The worst is that, when I am talking/ discussing about important things, and without warning, I got disconnected while I am still happily typing away on MSN. I will only know I got disconnected either when I turn my head and look at the lights, or when my browser shows page not found.

It has been like this for one week. Why? Is it telling me to go to West Mall and ask for upgrade and get that free modem?

Actually, I did try to revert to the USB modem, but after installing the software on my PC, it showed me a blue screen. And no connection also. So, will it be better if I carry on to use my Linksys gateway I wonder? Compare blue screen with unstable connection… Hmm.

And of course, we had a few occasion of Jason Chan drawing his artwork on the board too. And some scribbling here and there. Our civics tutor was our chinese tutor, so I think, since we were “learning” from song lyrics, so…. Hmm.. Hahaha… The board would have been empty anyway…

Every morning I open my eyes and look at the newspaper and TV, I will see NKF. So many people has cancelled their donation. So many people has decided to donate to other organisations.

But will they?

Perhaps, no going to town also. What for? It just reminds me of some things. Some things that I don't want to be reminded of.

Been solving some things here and there. I have managed to make a more realistic snow fall using Flash. Changed some variables here and there. And I have also managed to create that flying-through-space animation! It looks like flying through space, but I think it will be better if I can further randomize it.

Interesting, playing with simple ActionScript, when I don't even really understand the real basics of controlling Flash… Just like a few years ago.

But that was Macromedia Director. It's slightly different.

Went for a swim in the morning with Jianliang. Nice weather, but we wondered where have all the girls gone to? It's an ok day, and it's a bad day, depending on what context one is talking about. Didn't really swim much, due to a slight difficulty in breathing over at the pool today.

I think the cough and flu virus is catching up on me. A little itch in my throat now. When I was swiming, I was like grasping for air sometimes, which was really bad… well, it came and gone, on and off, and I could do nothing to stop it.

After that swim, we went to IMM! Had KFC for lunch, and bought ???? home too. Yummy. But it's a bit too little. Next time, if I have the chance, I will like to try out the real one…

Time to sleep for now. I did not manage to sleep in the afternoon as I have to fix some things here and there. Now I have to sleep, and wake up some hours later to buy ST and fill up some form and go all the way to the place where the sun rises by the sea… well well…

Perhaps I should give this song a try at the next KBox session. I wonder when it will be? I have not stepped into a Kbox for at least 1 month. The last one was with Eddy and Zhiwei at Cineleisure. We were just siao then, after travelling here and there to find some jobs, so we just decided at the moment to go in. Not everyone can do that.

Quite an OK day again. But I am not too sure why we met in school today. We discussed NOTHING, I feel. What I did there, I could have done the same in my room. I was trying to confirm the layout, but no one seemed too interested.

It's quite a waste of my time travelling. Although it rained, making me feel shiok, that's all. Yeah.

It's been officially 1 week since I signed that piece of paper with the lady boss. The agreed deadline is 14 more days from now. My personal deadline is 7 days or less. No point taking so much time with quite a small project that could have been finished in one week if all are working the way they should.

Never mind.

Everyone's talking about that NKF news. It's big news. Imagine that amount of calls, that amount of money raised, and the amount of money spent on things that do not benefit the needy patients directly! All of there, where did it go to? Yes. The Board should step down. They have just lost that very important thing called 'trust'.

But no, I still have that Cancer Fund card with me. The content is still 0. Any volunteers to help me fill up the cards, like last year? I just need lots of $1. Thirty will be enough to fill up the whole card.

I think I won't be accepting another similar card next year. I see no point in wasting resources by accepting the card. The postage, the card itself, and all those admin work. What for, when I am not raising hundreds of dollars? If people really want to donate, they will have done so through those charity shows, and through monthly contributions. They don't need the card. Imagine the number of schools in Singapore: I think, almost every school has joined in this card thing. So it seems that everyone has a card, and we end up donating to each other, so what difference does it make it I make a personal contribution directly to the organization?

Maybe, with changes at the top level, things will be different? Haha who knows, I shall wait and see.

No, the patients did no wrong. They should not be given up. There's hope, when there's belief. What the top level did, is the past. Move on.

We will still be in the dark if that particular person did not decide to sue that particular paper. Maybe everyone should thank him for that? Hmm…

Today’s quite an ok day. Did not go for a swim due to “bad response”. The weather’s not too good also. It rained over in the western part of SG. Bugis area was still dry though.

Yes, went to Sim Lim with Ashley. She is still that thin, although she said that she had gained 8kg! Not much difference to me though.. hmm… Long time never see her also. It’s been… quite a few years?

She got all those things that she had set out to buy: portable hard disk, webcam, and also ink cartridges (to be “exported” to Australia I guess…). I bought my ink too. This time, the cartridge was bundled with photo paper! So good! Besides these things, nothing else to buy already. I was already quite broke, and so was she.. that hard disk already costed $150… OooOoo…

Yeah, nougats! Yummy cuppucino flavoured nutty snack! Thanks!

Went to LJS for a … erm.. whatever you want to call a makan session that’s between lunch and dinner? High tea? Haha… anyway, we talked lots about school, friends, updates here and there…. blah blah blah… gossips, about other people’s GFs and BFs.. wahahaha…

After that she went off back to JP to meet her friends there, and since I had no where else I felt like going, I went home. It was drizzling at JE. How shiok to be able to walk in the rain. Madness once again. But it’s cooling…

I think I need sleep once again. The weather’s still quite nice to sleep. And I have finished my little application for Project Raduga. So far so good, but the rest are still not too free to do things… oweek dry run, how about making it a wet one by having rain everyday…

Sentosa dry run? Impossible… Sentosa’s surrounded by water…. ahhh… I am crappppping again..
