It’s weekend again!

Spent the past few days doing vehicle servicing, painting, and whatever jobs that need to be done! It was a tiring week indeed, but no matter what, it had passed!

The 6km run was great! I actually managed to run non-stop, although my speed was not as fast as the other runners.(but certainly not the last!)

And the NE tour was fun, even though many complained that it was far too short. I don’t know which idiot went and write “Boring” and “Not Fruitful” on the mahjong papers at our foyer after the half-day trip…

Next week will be another busy week I guess, as not all jobs are finished. Hopefully, all can be done on Monday, because I will be on leave… hahaha!

Finally, I have finished one of the series of David Eddings’ epic! I finished reading all 3 books from The Elerium! Great story! Now, I am starting to read another book, The Redemption Of Althalus.

Just found out yesterday that today's Youth Day!

This day is of no significance to me now. In secondary school and JC, I take this day as a holiday after the holidays (June). Now, I have incidentally plan my leave on this day. There's really nothing much to be happy about.

This Youth Day thing, makes me feel old, although I am only 20 years and 5 months old in another 2 days' time. How do they categorise youths? By age? What's the range? I do not know, and I do not even bother to go find out. Hopefully, someone can tell me…This is an effect of leave… laziness!

Went cycling just now. Not a very good experience. My aim is to avoid buses, in the end I spent more money, mainly on bike repairs! What a lousy bike! What can I say, but cheap things don't come good. I have decided to give that bike to my dad, so that he can bring it to the factory and let those foreign workers play with it. It will definitely cost more than the bike's price if I am to send it for repairs. A change of pedals and its arm already cost me $30! You can imagine how much the gears will cost!

I have no idea what to do with EnchantedLove.Net main page. I shall think through and ask people when I have the time…

I have just finished my duties for this month! Yeah! Let's hope there will not be extras popping out from nowhere…

Our bosses will be on course starting from Monday. We thought that we will be able to slack, but we are wrong… They have given us a long list of things to be done, most of which are time-consuming and tiring. However, I will be on leave on Monday! 😛

And one thing: The domain, Commonwealthian.Net, does not belong to me now. It now belongs to the school alumni. I have passed that domain up to them already.

Spent most of the day watching TV, listening to MP3s, and eating, and sleeping…

I can bet that I am getting lazy. I will be on leave for the next 2 days, so I'll be around Singapore, I guess. Where else can I go? Go Johor and return with a fever, and they will quarantine you for at least 5 days… not worth the risk.

I am on the last few chapters of the book that I am currently reading: Regina's Song by David and Leigh Eddings. It's a nice book. I just love the authors' style of writing. Once I start, I will have the urge to finish the whole book one shot, but I can't.

Tomorrow will be another lazy day. Was thinking of cycling to some school, but I guess I will leave that for Tuesday…

Maybe I'll just laze around, shift some furniture, and skip breakfast…

Ok! Fulfilled one of my New Year Resolution! Got myself a bicycle!

It's those cheaper type, not those really high class, but the main thing is, it can move! That's what I am looking for! And it's less than $100, which makes it affordable for my monthly upgrade programme. Soon, I will be able to declare that I have improved living conditions, but I don't think I will be able to save till a '2' infront of my bank account balance. I will try though…

Really, I admit that I have difficulty handling my money. I always buy things and then realise later that I have overspent. I really have to try and save, or else how am I going to survive after NS?

Maybe the best way to save is to lend your money to people, and tell him/her to return you after some time. However, there is a risk involved too. What if that person run away with the money? Like what they have done to me last time?

Nevermind, I have let them go. Let bygones be bygones…

Sometimes, it doesn't really pay to be kind-hearted, isn't it?

I am on leave today. Our boss wants us to clear our leave till all of us are left with 12 days for the rest of the year! What's this? Forced leave? Leave belongs to us, and yet we are being controlled, manipulated like puppets, doing something against our will.

Our boss' reason for this clearing of leave was to prevent us from taking leave during busy periods, but what he said was “I think this is fair.” Yes, to him maybe… but what can we do?

Anyway, we have decided to go on leave on the same days next month! We hope to visit Pulau Ubin, go swim at JE, eat at Suntec, and play everywhere!

This is our last day of our home leave, but we are not allowed to book in tonight. This is not the bad news. The really bad news was that there is a morning run tomorrow, starting at 0715! That means we have to reach camp before 0715! And they talked about having enough sleep and ample rest. It's tiring, especially in the morning, to travel for such a long period of time…

But I have no choice. I have asked for stay in, but they forbidden that.

Looks like I have to sleep early, and wake up at 5+, without a proper breakfast, report back to camp, and run with an empty stomach? Maybe I'll faint…No, that's not my character… endure…

Strange, but I have noticed that people like to set funny rules. I will elaborate more next time when I encounter one..

OK, here's what happened today…

0830HRS: Received a call from S4 Office, asking about contact and body temperature.

Around 1000HRS: Received another call, asking the same question, From Workshop.

Around 1130HRS: Another call, this time from Ops Room.

1430HRS: Another call again, this time from Aeromedical Centre.

Why so many people have to ask the same question over and over again???

Strange, but don't think my unit will be able to handle it if there is a real SARS case, despite all the measures, travel log, area cleaning, etc. Why can't they just centralise the information in one department? Why must they each ask the same question?

What can I do? Nothing…. Absolutely nothing, besides sitting in front of my computer, waiting for the phone to ring, and laugh it off after putting down the phone…

And once again, the ChAoS Award… *clap clap*

Never expect to write a blog at this hour on a weekday, but we had just received an order from our camp requiring us to stay out immediately.

It was a precautionary measure, as one of our workshop guys was down with pneumonia and was hospitalised (And you all know this thing about SARS…).

So here I am, at home, listening to MP3s, and waiting for rain to arrive…

Yeah hope nothing happens to Cam…
