I am beginning my great quest: to design and create easy includes for functions like forums, calenders, updates, and some other functions that I might think of later! This will take me a long long time, but I had a great start by completing the first forum page, and most important, it looks alright, just the way I want it!

Now I am at home, I can blog more words. Just now, while I was playing GunBound, suddenly, my computer shutted down! A touch on the casing confirmed that my motherboard had cut of the power supply due to overheating. This was the first time this happened. Looks like I will have to add an internal cooler fan into my casing. As for now, I am running my computer with the covers open, meaning the insides are exposed. This will, however, causes dust and dirt to enter, but I have no choice for the time being. I do not want another power cut off while I am halfway through the codes or blogging.

Yes, I am hardworking and I am lazy.

Had a basketball game in camp on Saturday morning. Great sun, great weather, until the sky turned dark with a rain that did not seem to fall willingly. The weather had been like that since; cloudy, with bits of rain here and there, bits of thunder and lightning.

And did I mention before about swimming on Friday night? We went for a swim before our bunk cleaning session. The water was so cooling, we did not feel like getting out of it, soaking in the blue water, talking, joking, splashing, until the lifeguard told us to. Swam around 5 to 6 laps. Did my usual practice of swimming the width of the pool in one breathe. It was easy, after that long swim.

I will be having another basketball session with my secondary school friends this morning, at JE. Hope the sky will clear up by then.

Over the past few weeks, I realised that I have been exercising quite often! This is good, as it will (somehow) keep my weight constant, if not reduce. Sometimes, I wanted to do some sports, but often, those activities were hindered by weather conditions…

Sometimes, although most of the time I hope otherwise, I wish that it doesn't rain on some days….

We cleaned up our bunk just now! There were lots of dust, cobwebs, and even little creepy crawlies…

The guard duty last night was peaceful, except for the usual turnout at 12.30am. As usual, we raised the flag in the morning and helped out with some duties here and there.

Currently unable to sleep, as I am thinking of some things, and some other people are watching some cartoon VCDs. I wondered… When? Why? How? What if? The answer? ….

Sometimes, I really do not know exactly what I am thinking about…

Today was another day of hard work. We had M113 road tests to do, and one of the vehicles could not start, due to a weak battery. After further checks, we realised that there wasn't any battery water in the cells! In the end, we got an arrow from our boss to check all the M113s and top up the battery water. Strange, but, I think we were doing a job that should be done by mechanics who were busy sleeping in the rest room…

Sometimes I really wonder, why some people can sleep the whole day. For me, I prefer to finish my job first before I rest. Some people just choose to rest and wait to be scolded before they will (reluctantly) start work. No, I can't, unless situation allows me to, or I am fed up.

This is my attitude towards work. Others' are theirs to keep.

On IRF duty now. Hope nothing happens…

Worked almost the whole day today. We had to raise the platforms of the V200 using a come-along, which was a slow and tiring job. We had to adjust the parking brakes of the vehicles to make them effective. We almost worked through lunch, continuing shortly after a half hour lunch break. Tomorrow we still have those covered vehicles at the car park to touch on.

Had a basketball session just now. It was the second day in a row that we have played. It was great, to get myself hot and sweaty, and at the same time improve on my lousy skills. We played with some new guys yesterday, and I confirmed that 2 of them were from CSS! Tonight, there was no one to challenge, though.

I always have more things to say, but this GPRS limit is stopping me. And there are no computers available… What to do? Limit myself…Lol

Nothing much today, except for the notice at the Spec Mess. We saw this notice which stated that corporals and below can only go there to buy food, and the food must be consumed outside the mess! Moreover, we are not allowed to use its facilities like the pool tables, arcade machines, and the computers! We are very disturbed and annoyed with the decision. Aren't we humans? If we are, why can't they treat us the way we deserve? Why did they close down our mess above the canteen? Can't we afford that little amount of money that the specialists paid (unwillingly for some) every month? But, what can we do? We are just men, and men are treated this way…

Went to watch The Italian Job just now, at Causeway Point. An interesting and funny show. I think it's worth it.

Would like to talk more, but GPRS don't allow.

Just 2 days away from camp, and there is an addition of a serviceman into our platoon strength. I have not seen him yet. I guess I will tomorrow.

There are alot of changes recently. The PCs have changed. The operators have ORDed. People getting posted overseas soon. And now, even my very own home page has changed its looks…

Sometimes, changes are inevitable. They might be necessary evils, making one lost and confused. However, we have to learn to face them, to adapt to them, no matter good or bad.

Yes, I've been through lots of changes, and yet sometimes, I still cannot accept certain things over a short period of time. It's just human nature, I think.

Think I am becoming more like a philosopher already… Alright, enough for tonight…

Looking at this new look, I don\'t see any more changes in the near future, unless I am really free or when I want to. Hah… I am only writing about it, who knows? I may put this design into my junkyard next week? -lol-

Went back to fix my spectacles just now. Hope that the change will give me a better vision. The shop had taken back my new pair of glasses for a change of the lens.

Went to trim my hair at JE too. It looked long, so I decided to cut it before someone else finds out about it (who else but the boss).

Finally, I know what to do for the domain, EnchantedLove.Net! Perhaps I can use that as a reference for all sweet things, like messages, emails, touching stories, those that may have circulated in our mails for years. EnchantedLove.Net: Spread The Love Around!

Yes, having something in my mind is better than wandering around aimlessly…

Suddenly this word came to my mind. I just happen to think of some other events that had happened and all of them were linked to this word.

Yes, saying them out are easy, but carrying them out are not if you do not have the heart and will. One can always say 'I promise I will do my best', 'I promise I will not do it again', 'I promise I will take care of myself', but ultimately, whether he succeed or not depends on him.

One loses credibility when they break promises. A friend of mine borrowed some money from another friend, and said he would return them 1 month later. His 1 month became 5-6 months. Once there's a unfulfilled promise, people will hesitate to believe you another time.

One has the tendency to carry on breaking promises once they had the experience breaking them. Another friend of mine likes to talk a lot, but does little. Most of the time, we take his words like hot water taking in sugar; unnoticed until we taste the water.

But the main point is: how many promises have I made in the past? How many have I achieved 100%, and how many have I broken? I've lost count…

I've promised not to waste money, not to eat too much, to run at least thrice a week at night, but did I? I've promised to go out with friends more often, to treat my friends better, to become a good guy, but did I?

No… I guess not…

And regarding promises to friends, luckily I did not miss much, except for some unfulfilled ones which will be carried out soon, like giving them a treat, going out together for some fun, go shopping, etc.

Looks like I treat my friends better than I treat myself….

I guess the rain yesterday must have extinguished some fires in my brain… yes, it's nice to be cool…

I am now stuck outside Ngee Ann Poly, waiting for the heavy rain to stop. The rain shows no signs of stopping… yet…

I am now wet and cold, but luckily, we managed to buy ourselves lunch. What can we do now? Wait, wait and wait…..
