The usual thing again. A break from ELove. I managed to prevent myself from starting up my computer(s) until night. And what did I see? 3 people tagging within 12 hours! Maybe, I should stay away from my computer more often…

Anyway, I did not switch on my computer as I did not have the time! In the morning, I went swimming with Yingzi, Eddy and Wu. Took the same bus as Yingzi, and we both were early! Eddy came at 10.35am, and that Mr Wu actually went to the wrong venue!!! Well done!!!

After the swim was a whole lot of crap regarding lunch. This cannot, that cannot. This don't want, that don't want. And the problem was, what were 3 guys so indecisive with lunch?! At first we settled for JE, in the end we ended up in Westmall, and we did not have lunch!!! In the end, I waited for the bus at Westmall…

Waste time. I still have a whole aquarium to maintain.

Went to JE NTUC to buy some yummy ingredients to cook porridge. Edible as usual. I had the tendency not to put any extra seasoning like soy sauce or salt when I cook porridge. Plain is good. Yeah.

Changed the water and cleaned up the tank. Yeah, Fish was the most ?, as catching it was easy. The others were running around, and I had to outsmart them, using only a miserably small fish net… I wondered where has the big net gone to… Now the tank looks clean! Hahaha…

I think I shall sleep early, but only after I read another chapter of The Da Vinci Code… What the others have been saying are true. It's a good book.

Today, I took a lot of buses! First, in the morning, I took 143 to West Coast! I had to help my parents buy their 4D stuff, and also to deposit the cheque!

It’s here, finally! My miserable pay cheque! But then, having this amount after working for only one week was not that bad. I liked the job actually. The only thing I did not quite like was the standing, although I am well-trained in standing… oh well…

After that, I took the bus back home, buying a packet of bee hoon for breakfast and also my ST! Watched TV as usual, and suddenly, winds blew and the sky turned dark. A while later, it rained! Wow… so cooling. The rain was heavy, and quite comparable to the one a few days back. It stopped some time later, and I went out.

Took 79 to JE, and changed to 178. I was going to Causeway Point! That DIY shop at IMM was closed for renovation, so I had not much choice but to make a trip there. Went up to Metro 3rd floor to see if Melvin’s slacking there, and he was! (But not slacking, except that I caught him looking at his watch… lol..) Talked to him for a few moment before I got out of there and wandered around.

I went into Popular, thinking of buying a marker that writes on any surface. In the end, I bought Dan Brown’s book instead of a marker, as I was lazy to hunt for it, and the book was sitting nicely on the bookshelf…

After that, I wandered to the basement to look for the lightbulb that I was looking for, but I could not find it!! Wasted trip! And so, I went out of the shopping centre and started thinking of my next destination. I settled for JP, as there’s a DIY shop there also. Off I went, down to the interchange, and took 187.

I read the first chapter of the book on the bus, and I knew that I am going to like it! Interesting, I thought. I had the book wrapped up just now. Heehee… book protection…

Reached JP, and I went down to the basement. Found the lightbulb! Yay! Bought it and got out. Did not feel like walking around after buying that, and so, I got out after looking at the sale at Giordano (well, lots of people, I wanna buy, but the fitting room queue was so long, and I was carrying this piece of ‘stone’, and it looked like the size I wanted was not there… fat fat me…). Took 79 home after buying some stuff from Old Chang Kee.

Just like that. Another day gone. No jobs yet.

Did I mention that I actually tried to make huat kueh last week? Here’s a picture:

It looked like huat kueh to me. My mom said it’s not bad. I think I forgot some ingredient while mixing the flour. The taste was a bit off… Hmm…

Sunday already!!! I more month to slack, before the war starts all over again. What should I take in the next sem? I think I will have to go for 6 modules… Hmm…

While working on My Friends, I think I will need another section called My Messages, which will have a record of successful/ unsuccessful requests from My Friends. Somehow, I think users (or rather, I) need to know who accept, who reject requests, and which requests are removed due to the expiry date. Sounds like bread… Hmm…

Just seen that Mac advert about Kaya Toast and coffee costing $2. The bread somehow looks like the fillet o fish bun. And the fillet o fish is going for $2 this week. Yeah… all these offers AFTER I bought myself a Mac breakfast… A hotcakes set… without the butter. Well, somehow, the auntie forgot to put them in, and I did not check… Haiz… and no points earned also! Aw…

MAYBE I should try out that kaya toast thing. MAYBE…

Went to IMM, but that DIY shop was under renovation!!!!! Went into Giant, and luckily, they do sell the light bulb that I was looking for. The light bulb's really bright!!! Yay!!!

I waited for Eddy while eating at BK. This was the 2nd time in this week, and don't know how many times eating student meal at BK! I should stop. Soon. Anyway, ate at BK and read the Newpaper over there. Act reading, but actually looking around for girls… opps! Maybe I should not let my crapp travel in that direction. That one will be the style Mr Law writes, or used to write when he was blogging.

How many blogs died? Lots. How many blogs does each person need? One. I wonder how people survive with MSN webspace, Friendster blogs, blogspot, lifejournal, etc etc etc. For me, I think, so far, I will only need ONE blog. The one and only Belief.

What's in for me later? I don't know. Maybe, I should go somewhere… It's almost the end of June. I have to start…

I was playing with live wires just now, taking out a faulty lighting switch and replacing it with a new one. Test pens are nice to play with, but don't play with it too much, as somehow, a small current which happened to be a bit higher than normal managed to wake me up a little.

Well, just a little.

Maybe, it's because I was sweating like mad. Really hot, working without fans or aircon. And I must be careful not to touch the live wire with my hands. I wouldn't want my hair to be like a mop, even though it's currently almost looking like one.

Currently talking a break, before I go out and take a walk around IMM. I have to look for a nice-looking lighting to replace that rusty one in the kitchen. And maybe, I will have to drill some new holes in the ceiling…. drill and drill…..

From all those activities, one can tell that, I have nothing better to do! No jobs! No play! No work! No money! What else?

Ok. Got to go take a bath before I go out. Shopping time…

And somehow, Xiaxue got burnt by this fire? Read her blog.. and SPG's blog too. What a mixup… But I do not have the papers with me though. But according to the picture posted up, well… how can a reporter make such a mistake… by labelling Xiaxue's pic as SPG… well…

Past activites: Swim on Monday, badminton this morning. Tomorrow? See how. I am living from day to day, because my future depends on the newspapers and the winds and the waters… Hmm.. what am I talking…

Summary? I am sure bored.

Been working with “Friends”. Today's Friend Requests. Somehow the display page looks OK, except for a missing image which I have not even start to create. Tomorrow, I should be able to finish up. Then see my mood. I should be going into “Calendar” first. I need my Birthday Calendar. June and July are the scariest months for me. Last time also not like that. This time, why all the birthdays seem to squeeze into these 2 months?! Oh well… Oh no… I see some dollar coins rolling away. I see some notes folding themselves into aeroplanes and glide away. I see an empty bank account.

Now where's my paycheck????????

Aiya…… so I've started on Phase 3. “Friends” is part of Phase 3! Actually I am nearly finished with “Friends”, but I need to settle the “Signup” stuff first before I can proceed further. I have to go back and correct and modify some login functions so that new users who sign up (who will they be I wonder?) will have their account activated and email verified at the same time.

Can be done…

Tomorrow's Monday! What to do? Go swim, read newspaper, then go for dental. This time it's 3.15pm! Getting later and later? Oh well. Maybe I can go pay a visit to the Engin Camp people? Hahaha if I am really free…

Went for basketball just now. Only 4 people! And without bball! And they were having a street soccer competition! And we saw Anandan, who has forgotten who we were until we said 'CSS'! And we sat there, waiting for a ball to drop from the sky. And the mama shop uncle was so nice to lend me that bball. And we played only 2 matches before we were dead, due to the heat.

Went to the library after that. Found a book that costs $12+ at Times bookshop. I wondered why I borrowed it… Nevermind. I WILL read it. Or rather, try to read it…

So fast. I have been a civilian for 1 year and 5 days! I ORDed on 12 June last year! Yeah happy belated 1 year anniversary! 12 June was Sunday, and the few of us actually went to Lao Beijing for buffet high tea that day! oooOooo…

Since I am so free now, I shall talk more about yesterday. On my way home from NUS, I met Louis on 79! He was my senior batch of V200 drivers, and we were in the same bunk! So zhun! He was going to fix his laptop. Talked much crap.. haha.. it’s been 2 years… And after I reached home and grab all my badminton and swimming stuff and went out to catch the bus, he boarded the same bus too! Hahaha… even more zhun… I was thinking that we might end up meeting again on the same bus, and it came true…

Yeah, my predictions and sixth sense are quite accurate with guys. If only it is as accurate with girls… but that’s another topic… back to the main talk… *rewind*

We carried on to talk more about how the others are doing, reservice stuff, NS stuff, until we reached JE interchange, where we said good-bye. Did not take down his contact however, but I guess if I want to find him, I will have my ways, being a ‘full of contacts’ person… Hahaha.. but then, outdated contacts also not much use… oh well…

I was late for badminton, but I was the first to reach. WTH. Eddy was second. Zhiwei was third. And I wondered where Yappie had gone to. When Eddy called him, he just woke up. In the end, the 3 of us played till 2pm. Then we went for a swim, minus Zhiwei, but add in Eddy’s GF. The pool was sooooo crowded! Lots of Malays! Malays just love to come in big big groups. And they brought in bee hoon and all those stuff, making me hungry….

Currently, right hand and buttock are aching… hahaha lack of exercises…. recover by tomorrow! For now, let me work on Friends… Slowly and steadily, my webbie is almost up…

Ok, laptop's back after 1 day at NUS. All data on C drive was gone. I was wondering why he did not choose to call me and say the windows installation was corrupted before he started on deleting my c drive. Now, all my laptop desktop stuffs are gone, together with some MP3s and ALL MY PHOTOSHOP FILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Advice: Don't anyhow put things on desktop. Also, don't anyhow put things in My Documents. My legal WMA downloads are gone together with the format. Luckily there's only one. Free one some more. Heng ar… at least I don't need to transfer the MP3s back to the laptop… And while trying to copy some data from the computer to the laptop using the thumb drive, but somehow, the computer did not like the thumb drive, and I could not copy the files…. ahhh!!! And I thought I did solve the problem by reinstalling Windows last time??? Ahhhh!!!!

And I got another problem. If I try to install MS Office again, maybe I would have to call up the helpline to get the product key again… ahh… Last time called before, and I have to wait… and wait… and wait… and then listen to a long long list of alpha-numeric combinations…

Ok, back on MSN already. Later I will have to restore my pics. All my smilies are gone too… ?????. Haiz… Just because of a software problem… If it's hardware, I have nothing to say, but… software!!! The backbone of the laptop some more!!!

I think I will forget about what I have lost soon. Maybe in a few days' time…

I was working on Friend Details just now when suddenly, a blue screen appeared, and the laptop restarted by itself! It's not a good thing to see a blue screen on a laptop, and as expected, that was the last time I saw the win xp logo load up. It showed me a screen instead, telling me that my hard disk was not detected, and suggested that the wire might be loose. I certainly hope so!

Currently, I have to work using the computer. BUT I am not installing MSN here! I shall just use the web messenger…

Hmm… at least I work on ELove as a remote site, and not local site, meaning that my files are all up at the server! Yay! Phew…

Nothing precious in my laptop currently (I think, and hope this is true…). I think I can do with a new hard disk. But I don't like to reinstall all my crap stuff! Now that I am out of business… what else can I do? Watch TV? Hmm…

But actually, I can still carry on to work, using this computer. I can just install the Macromedia software back again, the one I bought at Co-op. The one I chose 'transfer license' before I formatted my computer. See how… If I am really too free, then I shall do that. In the meantime, let me try to find out which 1 is the hard disk in my laptop… Hmm.. No idea, because never see before. Maybe the Fujitsu guy will be so nice to show it to me if I need to visit him tomorrow?

I am becoming mad again… But I have saved quite a lot of time already, given that the layout and format are about the same. And as I am writing this, I am going to take a snap shot and post it up…
