Went to Sentosa for our unit anniversary celebrations. I don't feel there's any celebration going on at all.

Firstly, the bus was late! We finally moved out of camp at 0845, when we should be out at around 8! And then, we had to listen to some 'tour guide' talking all the way to Sentosa! (Nevermind, that's his job, I can't blame him…) After that, we spent 1 hour 'brisk walking' through the Images Of Singapore Tour. I don't think I remember anything at all. I was like following the crowd, walking through all the exhibits and rooms.

And for the afternoon activities. We had Treasure Hunt Game. Some of the clues were funny and useless. We spent most of the time travelling around the island more than solving the puzzles. My group solved only 2 and decided to give up completely when our third clue pointed to the Lost Civilisation, when we were at the Southern-most part of South East Asia… I wonder why they said 'only public transport allowed', and some teams used bicycles and got off unpenalised. And I don't think there's any forfeit for returning back to the start point after 1500…

Fun? Not really. I was going to find some fun in the waters, but our CO had banned us from swimming due to the recent 2 drown cases at Siloso Beach. I was deciding to go for a suntan then, but the clouds signalled me to go home, which I did eventually. It rained when I was on my way to the bus stop at HarbourFront…

Purpose for this outing? Wasting money, I guess… I heard that they spent around $1400 just on the BK lunch… and where's the annual lucky draw??? No…

Nothing much to be memorable about, and absolutely no need for me to spend money buying some disposable camera and take some lousy photos here and there…

I feel… it's just another boring day… the only difference is that it's out of camp…

Went to PS with Lijian this afternoon. I took a look at the prices of the portable music keyboards at Music Plaza. The cheapest was $240! I am still considering… the size of the packaging had stopped me from buying it today. I shall see. I want to learn music. The midi port on my computer is waiting for some connection. My computer is all ready for anything. It is my little studio. I just need the respective hardware.

Had a little walk in PS. So many people! I had nothing on my mind, so I bought nothing, except for sushi at Carrefour. Sometimes, I do not know why, but I think I keep seeing one primary school mate around somewhere. 2 days in a row, isn't that a bit too frequent? We know each other, or at least I know that person, but we seldom talk. Think the last time was while playing basketball in primary 6? Forgotten. Poor memory….

I think it will be better for me to deposit my extra money back into the bank. I don't want to carry too much money with me when I go out. This is dangerous. Not that I am scared the money will be stolen or dropped, but the money will be spent, by me!

Booking in later. Have to buy a stamp. Just found out that postage has gone up! Everything's up. Newspaper, eggs, whatever…

Waiting for this week to pass quickly… I have guard duty this Wednesday. IRF. So sianz. Friday should be going to Sentosa (again) for Unit Anniversary Celebrations. After that will be a LWE. Good. And that will mark the start of my long long break till 10 February… Won't be able to see the new V200 trainees till Wednesday next week. Hope that they can finish their course quickly and help us out with some guard duties… lol

Woke up at 8 in the morning. Very reluctant to climb out of my bed. Tired… but no choice, I have my driving lesson to attend.

Reached Eunos at exactly 10:45am. Started my lesson. Not a bad lesson, I dare to say. At least I think I controlled the vehicle better than previous times. Some errors during parking though, but were corrected. After that, my driving instructor asked me if he could drop me off at Ang Mo Kio. That was quite unexpected, but I agreed, since I was going to meet my mother there to go visit a relative at Serangoon.

Took the train to Woodlands while waiting for my mother to arrive. Walked around there, bought some stuff, and went back to Ang Mo Kio! But then, I was already ready to sleep… When my mother reached at 2pm, she called the relative, but the family will only be at home at 3pm! So my mother and I went walking around Ang Mo Kio Central. Very tired…

Finally got to the relative's house at 3++pm. Sat there for 40 minutes. Talked a bit, discussed a bit. Really going to sleep…

Time to go back, but had to go back to Woodlands to buy some things like dinner and some home improvement stuff. Took 169. Slept immediately after seated. Nice air-con…..

Shopped and shopped. Took 178 to Jurong East and took 143 home…. finally…

During this holiday, I had spent minimum time in my home. I did no work on EnchantedLove, and I do not have the feeling to start. I am so tired… I am so lazy…

Maybe this is one way to spend one's time to the fullest…

Saw my relative's 2 sons. It's so great to have a younger/older sibling with you, to share problems, to learn from each other, to grow up together… Too bad I don't… It's getting a bit more lonely every year. Perhaps I should find myself someone who I can refer to as 'sibling'…

Yes, of course, friends are there, but I am looking for something that is more than friends, more like myself…

Impossible? Maybe… But that's what I need. I can do without, however… I am used to it anyway.

Just came home, from Chinatown area. Went for my friend's little birthday celebration at one of the many karaoke lounges there. Almost lost my voice… and also, drank just a little bit of alcohol. Just one small glass.

We were like mad people who had not sung for years! Tried all sorts of songs, and got lots of nonsense too! Yeah, singing once in a while is great!

As for the birthday boy, we split the cost and bought him a basketball and a birthday cake. Nice ball and cake… mmMMmm I like Bengawan Solo's fruit cake! -lol-

Took some photos too. I will send the negatives for developing tomorrow. Erm, I mean later. I will be going out again in the morning for my driving lesson at Eunos. After that, I should be going over to a relative's house at Serangoon. Travelling all over Singapore…

I have come up with a new Project, Project Flying Heart… I don't want to elaborate too much on this, but I can say that this project, when completed, will be sent overseas for inspection… :X Hope I did some translation correctly. I have to confirm it first before I write down the address, or else the project might land up in some other person's mailbox.

It's almost 3am! And I am still wide awake! No, I have to sleep. I cannot drive with my eyes closed…

Yes, that's the way I want to spend my time, not just stay at home at look at the computer screen while the computer screen stare back at me…

It's still raining! The rain has gone on and off for almost a week. Yesterday, it spoiled our plan to return to unit. We managed to make it back this morning with a slight drizzle. After we had parked the vehicle, the rain got heavier! Haha quite lucky…

That's the end of the AFS attachment. Ate quite a lot (missed the food and the people there…), seen my primary school friend, and many many familiar faces. It's like an old home to me, walking around there, knowing where to go and where to siam…

Total mileage? 38km. Better than nothing. Tired… I want to sleep for a while…

Got a last-minute detail to AFS yesterday. Drove a V200 TRV to that place in the afternoon. It was drizzling, but just when we were about to park the vehicle into the hangar, it rained heavily! Luckily we were allowed to stay out, and we brought our clothes along…

I am at AFS today again! Later in the afternoon, I may have to drive back the vehicle to camp. Hope it will drizzle a bit later… -lol

Currently in the library, enjoying the air-con, surfing the net, doing nothing. Why this computer does not support Traditional Chinese???? Cannot read the chinese characters! zzz..

Think I'll go find something interesting to do….

Finally! Finished part of EnchantedLove.Net, although some of the functions are, erm, a bit messy and only I understand… besides me and 1 guinea pig (*ahem), I don't think there will be other people using it for now. I am and will still be working on it, to improve, to advance. Learnt some more useful functions on the way too! They make my life easier!

This morning's rain spoiled our basketball plan. Even if the rain had stopped, we could not play. Slippery ground. Floor that sprays water at you when you bounce the ball… In the end, I stayed at home. No, never take up the invitation to go K-Box. Not today.

And about my online shopping. Found out that not all goods are available for international delivery, which is bad, because what I wanted is in the local section! 'Local' means USA for the website… Maybe I should go try my luck locally. At least it will be cheaper, hopefully.

Valentine's Day coming. Should I do something special? Or should I stay at home and sing my song? Perhaps both? Very luan. Some tell me I should do this, I should do that, but if no one's there, do for what? For myself? Haa…

And 5 days before before V-Day, I will be 1 year older… Good! Haha.. I have changed my mindset. Getting older is not that bad! At least it means that I have gone through 21 years of life, all the happiness, sadness, anger, etc, for the past 662774400 seconds! All those tests, exams, arguments…. some were so interesting! -lol-

Have to book in tonight! After so many days of break, it will be hard for me to adjust back, maybe? And our supposedly 'juniors' had gone for their V200 Class 1 Course. That leaves us only 6 (or 5) drivers. Hope this week will be a peaceful one…

Oh man, time for them to enjoy over there! The food, the library, the all-rank mess, the ladies… -lol-

Have been working on EnchantedLove.Net. Currently making good progress. I should be able to get the member section up by Sunday. Then I will have to test it. Over and over again, using different methods, from different pages.

The main purpose for EnchantedLove.Net? Not sure yet, but I am sure there will be a purpose for it…

I am thinking of doing another online purchase soon… I want to try… Purchase something, and then see how much it will cost, including delivery charges and all.

Chinese New Year… again…

Every year's about the same to me. Visit, visit, and stay at home. I don't have much relatives, or should I say, my parents don't keep in contact with some of them. And mostly, I only see them once a year, which is during Chinese New Year. Some, I don't see at all…

The same goes for all my cousins. Actually, I have lots of cousins, both from my mother's and father's side. Mostly are older than me, and I (again) only see them once a year. So bad… they are like strangers to me. Previous years, while visiting, I had to ask my mother who were they…

Closer relationships? I hope, and want too…

19 more days… feelings? Nothing much. It's almost the same every year, alone, treating the day as normal…

New year, new beginnings. Hopeful me wish all a Happy Chinese New Year and a great 12 months ahead. As for myself… I hope…
