Maybe I should get my own guitar 1 day…

I have been learning to play the guitar for the past month, and I think I am getting the hang of it. It's great, with the ability to play the different chords for songs like 'Ai Hen Jian Dan', 'Shi Jie Mo Ri', 'Hui Cai Tian Tang', etc….

However, my chord-changing is still not very smooth. Often, I will press the wrong strings or put my fingers at the wrong place. Looks like I still have a long way to go…

Hmm… maybe I should be learning the piano too? Hahaha… Can't possibly bring a piano into camp…

Yesterday was quite OK, except for some last minute arrangements.

We came back from TAB at around 1 plus in the afternoon and was supposed to rest till 4. However, the others and I did not even have the time to rest. I was playing Contra (wah… oldies!!) with Melvin when the others said that everyone, including those who just came back, had to go to the games venue to be spectators! Reluctantly, we all walked over to the basketball court. The next thing was that we had to to sit at the 'grand stand'! Yeah, it was really grand, with the concrete sitting area as bright as the sun's rays, if that was what they meant about 'grand stand'… We all had a good tan, and had somehow enjoyed watching the games. Workshop played only one game and that was the only game that the unit got first in! Wow!! Workshop rules!

While watching the games, a call came in, saying that there would be a last-minute rehearsal for the parade on Saturday! We all couldn't do much about that…

After the games, we had (supposedly) a 1-hour break. But, at around 6pm, the PA system came on and a voice told us to proceed to the Specialist Mess immediately. Last minute thing again…

We ran there (RSM shouted at us, saying, 'ah you walk!'… we had no choice…). After listening to some speech and singing a birthday song, the buffet started. We all used our teamwork spirit: Bring various food back to the table and eat as a whole. That was what we did during the unit's anniversary dinner in January. Beer was free-flow. Drank some. And felt a bit hot( maybe due to the beer or due to the sun tan, or perhaps both!).

We got ourselves an early dismissal from the dinner in order to rest for this morning's event. Saw some drunk ducks around in the unit… I don't know why, but that might be the Singapore spirit: 'since it's free, why not?' Some people just could not, but they drank, in gulps instead of sips (why? Trying to get themselves drunk? Yeah they succeed…)

Rehearsal just now was alright. Dismissed from TAB at around 11.15 (really early). Bought McDonald's for lunch, and purchased that little The Dog cushion! Kawaii~!!

So many last-minute things… looks like I am used to them already! Always expect the worse to happen…

Nothing much, except that I found out (again) that it doesn't pay to be kind sometimes…

This has something to do with hair. I shall not elaborate further today.

Tomorrow's another day at TAB. After that, we will be having some celebration of some anniversary… games, food and drinks…

Not again…

Just added this new function to my diary. It will allow me to post more than 1 entry per day without the need to add a new one, which simply means that all entries for a single date will be viewed as a single entry and not as multiple entries. And it looks like I have failed…

It's already 8+! Time passes real fast, especially when I have things to do. Currently typing this while watching the PM's Rally. he talked about SARs and its effect on the economy(expected).

Well, looks like I have to push all undone things to next week…

Sometimes, I really wonder, I care about others, but do others care about me? I doubt so. Friends are mostly like that. When they are in need of you, they treat you like new teddy bears. When they do not need you, they treat you like old, torn and smelly rags… Don't know why, just having this feeling suddenly. Maybe it's because of some incident last night?

Nevermind… No matter what, I will still survive…

OK, webhosting for Dexco Designs is up! And it will be time for more brainstorming later on.

I have just agreed to do a sample page for Emmanuel, FOC(yeah, that's what friends are for..lol)! His R-Labs.com, well, it had that message last year end till now…

See? I managed to find things to do, besides rotting away facing the computer and thinking of some funny ideas. This will be the way I want it, hopefully.

Got to see to the design already. Bye for now…

Registered the domain DexcoDesigns.com just now, after brainstorming for some hours.

Sometimes, or should I say everytime, rain gives me inspirations. It gives me all the power I need. All the hopes, all the goodness…

But sometimes, even the rain won't help to clear some doubts. Even the downpour is not enough to remove my confusion.

Actually, where am I? I do not know… What I know is, I felt alone.

Well, sometimes, keeping quiet is a better alternative…

But that may also make things even worse…

Life is full of choices, and most of the time, we can only choose one of them…

Hope I did not make a wrong choice…

Switch on my internet connection this afternoon, and the first thing I got was a popup by Norton Antivirus, detecting the W32.Blaster.Worm… after which it removed the file. However, I was told that my system had to be restarted. I had no choice…But so far, I did not find any sign of infection on my computer. I had already installed the patch and updated my antivirus software

And yes, I went back home today from Tengah Air Base. Me and 3 others took Warrant Mani's car to JP, where we went our separate ways. It was the earliest timing that I had reached! I got home at around 12.30pm!

It looks like more people are bringing phones with integrated cameras into camp. It was tempting for me when I went to get my 6108 on that Sunday. I wanted a camera phone, but I did not want to take the risk. Who knows, the unit might change its mind and begin to catch people with these types of phones….

Opps, I have not got the old song album that my father has asked me to buy last week. I think I shall go shopping tomorrow.

The above activity may not be carried out. Who knows? Everything changes everytime, everywhere…

Finally got to use the camp's computer! I am in the Specialist Mess now (although I am not one of them).

Found out that this computer cannot be used to run ICQ!!!! Sianzzzz.. cannot see who's online.

As for the parade, all's well, except for the early waking up. The vehicles are OK (so far) and we got ample rest (till 1600).

Tomorrow will be another day of rehersal. Looks like I will book out directly from there, with green eye shadows (camouflage cream) and No. 4 uniform. I will look like an alien in Jurong Point tomorrow… lol

I will have to think of what to do this weekend. Maybe go for a run? Hmm…

Today was a very wierd day. I managed to keep my ATM card away from those computer hardware shops at Sim Lim Square!

However, *ahem* I spent $100++ on clothes at Giordano! I was like… shopping for New Year??

The story was like this: Eddy and me went to Giordano at JP to buy clothes. Our initial bill was (total) around $150, but the salesgirl managed to 'persuade' us to hit the $200 mark to get the membership, which promised discounts of 15%. Therefore, I took 2 more shirts, and he too took 2, thus hitting the target. I took the membership key chain. It was nice! Perlini's Silver!

So in the end, I don't think I'd saved any money at all…

Got to book in later, for a hectic week. Got 3 days of rehersals for the RSAF Day Mobile Column and Static Display, and one of those is a Saturday! As usual, I will survive, since I had survived all along.

See you all next week, most probably, unless I got my hands on the camp's computer….

I just cannot stand it, but what can I do?

Well, some people just love to change their minds. Yeah, me too, but not that often. At least I announce to the whole world if I decide against my earlier decision.

Asked people if they were interested to play pool tomorrow morning. But I got no reply from some. I do not encourage this kind of response, but what can I say? Scold them? No I can't do that. I just have to take all the responsibility.

Yeah, some people are just like this. When they have no one around, they treat you like good friends. When they are out in the open, they treat you like grass.

And you may say, 'so, you treat them as friends?' Yeah, I still do. This is me. I have my own character. Their characters are theirs to keep. I keep my own.

I am just too fed up to organise similar outings in the future……

Be it basketball, swimming, pool, or bowling, I don't wish to organise any of these, at least for the time being.

This is just a little too much for me. I had enough already.

One day, I shall be immune to this. When that time comes, people will no longer see the present Daniel…
