Just that I don't like to work on 'surprises' that I think the other party will not really enjoy. And I also don't like to go around head-hunting people to confirm their attendance.
Everyone has their own priorities. It's just that the priority for this is not high enough compared to others.

Hmmm.. this left leg problem still refuses to go away.
The problem: Most of the time it's ok. There's one thing i cannot do with my left leg now: straighten the leg, and maintaining it at 45 degrees or more. Impossible! And I am feeling some sort of strain along the hip and thigh area. Hmm…
Something is wrong somewhere. Heh. I think it might be due to the falls during rollerblading practices. Lol!
And now, I think I will have slight problem swimming… slight problem tennis… slight problem bballing…
Oh well. Lol.
It will recover. I hope. If not, it's time to visit some doctor… hmm…
Ok DSL is up again!
Information from my dad:
9.30am, 1 guy came, and failed to correct the problem, and left after calling for 'reinforcements'. Next, another guy came. And then, another guy. And so, when I reached home, I saw 2 Singtel vans downstairs. 2 guys were fixing something at the telephone access point at the stairway. A while later, DSL was up.
The time was 4.30pm. Lol.
And then I ended up watching 'Secret'. Not bad…. it's niceeeeee….

Tuesday: Briefed my 'FYP assistant' on how to collect data. Lol. Went for lunch, and home.
Wednesday: 8am to 6pm. Toopid quiz. Should get almost 0.
Thursday: FYP discussion with Prof Xu. I always failed to stun him with my questioning. Damnz… Lol… He's pro!!! It's good to have a pro for FYP discussion. Hehehe…
Aiyo.. Unable to come online yesterday night due to the wiring switch at my block. I wonder if the dsl link will be up by the time I reach home. If not, it will be another offline night, doing nothing. Not as if I have things to do online though. Heh. If it's not up, it's complain time! Lol!

This week's the last all-lecture week. Next week, everything's going to start. Tutorials especially. So far, I have not seen any of my tutorial group people except for 2 others which was seen during lab that day, and one guy who I have seen for a few weeks… hahaa…
What have I done this week? Nothing significant I would say. It's going to be like a routine, which is bad. No life? No way… have to put some life into it. Maybe… maybe not… I don't know.
There are some things I want to do, as always, but some other considerations always hold me back. Maybe I consider too many things. Time, money, commitment, opportunity cost, effectiveness, etc. Think too much? Maybe… Or maybe a lack of self-motivation and confidence somewhere…
Where did I go wrong? Or, have I been correct all the while? I think the answers will be revealed to me soon… very soon…

I will be on off for the next 3 days. I was forced to clear my off days, and now I am left with none. How am I going to survive without off? Have to think of a solution.
Been thinking through an incident that happened late last week, and I realised that I have made a mistake that I wouldn't want.

Anyway, on another topic. Have you been in a situation where, you needed some form of help, and you desired/expected someone to help, but ended up being saved by an unexpected someone else? Should be quite common.
"Unexpected". Is that really the case, or is it you just fail to recognise that the "unexpected" is always there? Maybe. And since it is "unexpected", you have never really take notice, but that "unexpected" has always been around. Oh well.
Maybe it's really "unexpected", but who knows. Maybe, it's better to feel "unexpected" rather than to be disappointed with an "expected".
Maybe that's the way I work too. I don't like to expect things, because usually it has a high possibility of going the other way. I expected the weather to be sunny, but it turned out stormy. I expected the class to be at least gendered balanced, but it ended up having more guys. I expected people to do things without reminding, but I ended up forgetting them myself due to the long and usually hopeless waiting period for response. I expected some person to be waiting, but, fat hope.
And so, over the years, I ended up expecting less. No, I try not to expect the unexpected. No point. I see how. That is able to train me in immediate response. If people ps me, I will just go somewhere or find someone else. If people ignore me on msn, I will just talk to another person (there's no way you can really know how true is the delayed response anyway).
Immediate response means increased flexibility, which leads to additional creativity and ideas. I have been running out of ideas over the past few years. I need more ideas.
And so, I do not expect anything from anyone, and vice versa, for now. Heh. It's better that way, for now. Wahaha…

Brought back my npro open for some maintenence work. Hmmm.. so far so good, the racquet. It's a bit light, but the feel's alright so far. Hehehee…. My technique's not home yet. Need to improve more!
And ofcourse, need to learn the kick serve. Kick serves are fun! Currently, my kick serves are all over the place! Quite hard to find the feel.
But I will find it, somehow. Lol. I have 2 unofficial coaches, ben and chris. Lol…
