Ok, so history says that tonic water actually comes about in the past, when people mix quinine, which is bitter-tasting, to water, so that it became some sort of a medicine to fight against malaria.

Erm… quinine against malaria. Knew that long ago. The thing is, this drink actually glows in UV?!

Tuesday
Tuesday was tennis day I think… players were chris, lionel#2, shawn, shawn's friend (forgot the name…), and me. Played for a while, and then it rained. Too bad… Went over for lunch at YIH, and then followed chris to queensway for a bit of jalan jalan. Thought of buying a tennis bag, but I guess I shall put it on hold first. Gone home after that. Bought nothing from queensway. Lol…

Wednesday
Wednesday was slacking day I believe. I was at home the whole day, watching siao anime in the morning, mapling in the afternoon, and then flying off to paris at night. Total slack. Thought of upgrading the tagboard again, with better coding. Currently, I still cannot pinpoint (or rather, lazy to pinpoint, as it can still work) the error in javascript. Ahhh….

HR called, asking me to go down to settle appointment thing. I suggested tomorrow. They said 11am.

Thursday
Thursday was a siao day! Lol. Woke up and went out to settle things with HR. Bus 70 just refused to come even though iris said 6 minutes and I was sure the time was well past that. In the end, I got there zhun zhun. I was trying to call angela when she was trying to call me. Lol… interesting timing eh. Went in to listen to the usual 'speech' and the usual forms and admin stuffs, and everything was settled by 12pm.

Got out, took 70 back to MRT station, and travelled down to bugis. Walked over to sim lim tower to find some stuff, but failed. Walked over to sim lim square to find the shop that I found online. It rained really heavily! No choice, but to use my umbrella. Lol. Shared it with some poor working people too. Found the shop at 4th floor. Erm… $150 for the kit. There should be a cheaper alternative somewhere… hanwei was nowhere to be seen at his shop, and so I bought a coke light, newpaper, and walked to the busstop. From there, it's the bus game!

960 came! I saw that it terminates at woodlands, and I thought, why not? Lol. Saw bukit panjang plaza, and decided to get off. Lol… Smsed yinghao to get him to come out for talk crap session. Don't play play ar, he went for lasik, now no need specs liao lor… After talk crap session at kfc, I went home via 176 and then 143 at JE.

So today's travel was: south-west to north, north to south, south to north-west, north-west to south-west. No. No east. Lol.

Friday
Friday was another tennis day! Players were chris, lionel#1, lionel#2, youjiang, and me! lionel #1 went off to buaya I supposed, and we were left with 4 people. Played from 4pm till around 7.30pm. Huatz. Lol…

1 thing interesting was, I got out of home, and was walking to the AYE busstop, and I was looking at my rackets, and thinking, how come one of the grips was white in colour? And then, I realised: I forgot to put on overgrip. Duhz… throughout the day, I was hitting like shit because I could not hold properly to my racket because it was too slippery without the overgrip. Duhz. Quite sianz actually… but still, managed to play ok.

Youjiang went off to meet gf, and we 3 were thinking of mac. Mac closed at 8pm, and so, we ended up at clementi kfc. Bought the shrooms meal. $3. Lol… Went home after that. 285 + 143.

Saturday
Saturday was css gathering. People attended: edric (organiser), zx, rf, alvin, zy, and me! We went for pool and bowling at west coast rc. Lol. Fun! Only bad thing was, everytime I finished playing bowling, my arm will then start having muscle ache. I think a certain group of muscles have not been doing their jobs properly by training up… Lol…

After that, we went over to clementi for makan! Edric had actually booked a table! Wahh… we ate some yummy stuffs here and there, just a simple zichar dinner. And then we walked all the way to west coast park, wanting to drink that wine. In the end, it required a corkscrew to open… and we ended up in mac. Lol… shared nuggets, had my yummy macflurry and then home. Lol…

Reached home, and realised that the women's finals had ended. Ivanovic won. Ahhh!!!! I missed it!!!!

Sunday
Stay-home day. Almost no voice! Lol… wanted to go bball, but decided against it. Rest. Rest. Rest.

Watched the finals. Federer lost. Lol… And that's the end of Roland Garros 2008. I am back in SG. Lol.

Monday
Went to UE Square for medical checkup in the morning. Ben and yinghao both had interviews in the morning, but ben went home after that. Met yinghao for lunch at vivo. Jalan jalan around while waiting for him, and ended up buying a very very simple $65 LG phone.

But still, I want my E51 without camera!!!

Walked around after eating. Bought nothing else. Lol… Went back to JE to return the overdued library book, and then to NTUC to buy the soya bean yummies (next time then show). And then? Home la.

End of update. Nothing else to say for now…

Sunday was bball day! The weather was great! Not too hot, and no rain! Heh…Played till 6+, stoned till 7+, and then home. Shiok ar…

It's been a long time since I bballed. I used some time for warming up, to get rid of that irritating pain that prevented me from doing funny things. After that, things went on ok. Funny slipped disc. Lol…

Monday was stone day. I was thinking if I should go over to sim lim square to check out a PIC programmer. Hmm… Been looking for a suitable relay that can switch AC voltages that have currents up to 1A. Hmm… still searching. Lol. Been looking at 7-segment displays and 5×7 LED matrices too. Hmm.. fun. Hahaha…

Went out for pool. Pool was initiated by Lionel #2. Players were lionel #2, raina, chris, grace, ian, and me!

Interesting eh…

Lionel was there first. I was 2nd. Chris was 3rd. While the 2 were playing, I saw a chio babe walking in and then walking out. And that turned out to be raina! Wahahha!

Never see her before mah… not my fault. Lol.

Grace and ian came later a bit.

We played till 10+. And then, we went for makan at the prata place. Grace and raina drove. Oh well, nowadays, girls drive to send guys around.. how fortunate of us! Ahahhaah…

Makan prata, talk crap, more crap, and more crap…

And then home! Raina dropped me off at my favourite drop-off point: that AYE bus stop. Lol.. actually that's not my favourite. It's just to make things easier for drivers to go home directly from there.

And walking in at night is shiok.

Friday was Sentosa Day! People involved: zx, rf, victor, edric, zy, alvin, patrick, and me! We met at 12pm, at Seah Im for lunch, and then went for a bit of shopping at Giant, and then in we went.

Ok la… the weather was quite ok. The sky threatened to rain. It did rained a few drops, and then, it was windy, and then, it cleared up. Lol… We played volleyball, frisbee, volleyball-rugby (haaha use volleyball to play rugby la), etc etc etc… looked at babes once in a while, etc etc etc…

Overall, the trip was fun! Lol… After that, we went to harborfront for KFC dinner! oOooo… And then, home lor.

And I saw siyong at the bus stop! Hahaha… I was about to sms him regarding today's tennis, and he appeared! Wootz… We took 143 together with, er, his mum, I think? Heh. Ok, we stood all the way to West Coast. Toopid bus. So many people. The best part: at West Coast, 1 very very very very empty 143 overtook the one I was on.

Nothing new with that kind of thing. It is as usual.

Saturday was Tennis Day! People involved: chris, zheshien, k lionel, and me. I reached the earliest, and I thought it would rain as the sky was very dark. In the end, a few drops of water, and then peace… Did not play like crazy because I have not fully recovered from flu.

Lunch at Mac. Zheshien ordered the onion rings. I looked at the box, and thought that fries were more worth it. Kns… 1 small box.. and a few onion rings. That's about it. zzz.

The green tea McFlurry? Vanilla ice cream with green tea powder, and then undergoing the 'washing-machine treatment' by the McFlurry machine… Ok la. edible.

The nuggets? Never tried. They did. They did not comment. So I guessed it's not that awesome or what…

After that, took 188 to IMM. Claire was there! Lol… timing just nice. Stood around outside Popular, waiting for her appearance. 3.30pm, ta-da! Heard the live version of ????? that really felt like CD-quality… Lol… And then, the nice nice song from her first album, ??????. Oooo…

After that, there was a singing competition, but I went off before they started singing. Later, I walked past the stage again, and I thought the decision to go off was a good one. Wahahaa…

Bought nothing from IMM. Went over to JE to activate that UOB NOW Debit Card. FYI: the subscription for that card is going to be S$18, after the first-year fee waiver. For free subscription, users will have to chalk up total payments by Visa of S$2400.

Been exploring (or re-exploring) AJAX, XML and the Document Object Model (DOM). Hmm.. looks like interesting things can be done with them! It's going to be fun (if I ever get things to work).

And for now, more exploration, more tries, more anime-watching (erm..), before I upgrade the tagboard again with better scripting in it. The current one, well, has 1 error that appears and I don't seem to be able to trace. It does not affect the submitting of tags, though. Hmm… what's the error? Hmm…

When you cannot find the error, you propose a whole new way to do things. Wahhahaa!

Just received a new card from UOB. It's a bright red card! Wahh… It is a Visa card, an ATM card, and, something new, an EZ-Link card! Lol…

But then, it's not a NETS card. Duhz. Why leh? Anti-NETS meh? Lol… That will be a problem, when shopping for cheap items. Some places don't allow Visa transactions when purchases are below a certain minimum amount. The Campus Card will expire in July, but it can still be used for NETS (I hope).

Which means… more cards in the wallet…
