This week will be the second last week.

Quite a few things to do:

• Start on Report 2, and get it done by next week, so that I will not need to appear at that place another day. Actually, I don't mind going back and look at… whoever.. wahaha…
• Finish up on documentation. Lots of documentation to do. I have to explain all I have done in my standard: tech terms format. No.. not a technical paper, but a detailed description of certain parts.
• Solve the switching problem. TRIAC circuit is giving me some minor problems, and I will try to settle it tomorrow morning. With a oscilloscope now, anything can be seen! Yay… and I did not ask for one. Sup just said, 'I have got an oscilloscope!'…

Other things to do, out of work (or during work, whichever applies):

• Buy ??? album.
• Try to make pizza (if I really really very free).
• Clean up my room.
• Clean up my computer.
• Hunt for a new pair of bball shoes.
• Lunch meetings.
• Dinner meetings.
• Swim meetings.
• HazelCafe Phase 1.
• Find out how much a research engineer earns a month.

Hmm…

The shoutbox from oggix.com looks ok. Interesting thing is that they even implement a spam prevention method in there! After pressing submit, the system will request the person to key in a number as shown in a display.

And I will not tell you how to break it. No point la. Nice safety feature anyway, that doesn't harm you or use too much energy to key in additional 3 numbers and clicking on submit.

I still prefer my own board.

Ok… 2 more weeks, and that's it…

I have effectively 13 more days to work on LabVIEW. No, the problem is not LabVIEW. It's my circuit design. And I do not know how to continue further. Oh well.

Maybe I do. Hmm. Try it out tomorrow.

Ok, more on what I am trying to do: to pass a particular sensation to the finger tip, using electrical pulses. It can work, no doubt, because a few people have already become guinea pigs to my electrode array: My sup, my sup's dunno-who-is-that, Yinghao, Shenzhou, XP…

Don't know why, but people tend to be afraid of electricity. Nothing much actually, just that earlier last few weeks, my feedback system sucks, and current managed to flow a bit too much, leaving some pain on my index finger… Yeah.. nothing much.

I am the prime guinea pig. If that is bad, will I let people try? Maybe I will. Lol… Now have to get Mr Law to try, maybe.. tell him that by putting his finger there, he will feel horny or what? Hmm…

1 thing for sure is that, I am becoming LabVIEW pro! Wahaha… Next sem, there's this new module: MatLab and LabVIEW for engineers. They are lucky that I have fulfilled my tech breadths and UEM…

Today, we decided to become online stalkers. Found a friendster account that should be one of the perm staffs at I2R. Heh. And ar… that day I found FNA Fashion Show… ok ok… maria ho, on friendster. She happened to link to xinli and cyn, and she's xinli's canoe mate~ Wahsey…

Went to watch Transformers with Zhenyao. Not bad, except the ending…

And the cinema.

Imagine, we 're-watch' the opening, got 'blank-screened' in the middle, and the total disruption time was about 10 minutes or more. I guessed, the people who caught the 1.15pm movie would get out of the cinema at roughly the same time as us.

File sharing, or rather, audio file sharing…

I have nothing to say, except that there's one big company that attempted to sue one of the audio file sharing website, for copyright infringement. And that made the website even more famous.

You know, the website that lets you put audio in your webpages… That will automatically play your song so loud that will cause people to just click the 'x' at the top right hand corner?

I don't have the habit of switching off my laptop sound. Whenever I hit on these websites, I have to fn + F3, and then find the stop button, and fn + F3 again.

If it's some soft music that will fade in, I will not care. But not those that start off from no where, especially those that start off at the chorus. Oh well.

And also… ever wondered why this place has no more background music?

Been listening to Campus Superstar for a few weeks already.

The first batch was much better than this season's. Much much better.

I think watching channel 8 at that time will be more interesting. At least something to laugh, and the ears don't hurt that much? They better do something about it.

Bball problems?

A bball problem will be

• when you realised that you are only one running around on the court
• when you are holding the ball, but no one else reacts
• when you miss a shot, and you realised there are no one in the box to get the rebound
• when you badly want to win, but it's the wrong time

Wahha… no no I not talking about me. Just crap observations. Wahaha…

How to solve bball problem

• when no one running, don't bother
• when no one reacts, throw the ball to them, or shoot
• when no one gets the rebound, wait for the opponent to counter-attack
• when it's the wrong time, apply the top 3 solvers

Week 9 tomorrow. 3 more weeks to go. Aw… And I haven't really start on HazelCafe. Not free, and not that motivated to start. As things get complicated, one tends to leave them alone, until something disastrous happen… Currently, all's well… Oh well…

At least they are quite fast this time. But a bit too fast? Lol. Maybe, people who have bought Zen Stone earlier will become stones…

A short interval in between, Creative released this new product. The 'upgraded' version features a 2gb capacity, blue OLED display, and FM tuner… Things that I have been blah-ing that the Zen Stone lacks.

At S$99, I think it's worth the money, even though I think it can be better, with a slightly longer battery life, and a USB connector instead of a USB cable. Now, I wonder what type of cable is the Zen Stone using to connect to the computer… if it's a normal USB cable, then it's not too big a problem. If it's some strange connector type (like my current going-to-chui-soon m-robe), then it's going to be a minor problem.
