Ok, time for a week of updates.
On Monday, we went for badminton at YCK! Ok, time to list down everyone: calvin, minyan, jeremy, josephine, yinghao, benjamin, teck hoong, owen, chek seng, pamela, and me. Chee wai was not there. Nor was kah tong. Looks like chek seng's pro.. heh heh…
Somehow, my badminton was off-beat that day. Could not really hit the ball. And I found myself playing badminton the tennis way, which was definitely wrong. Zzz… And that expensive yonex grip did not help either. It was very slippery! Zzz…
After that, chek seng went off. Owen went off to 'eat apple'… wahaha… and pamela went off for her driving lesson. And so, the rest of us went to that seafood restaurant opposite yishun stadium for dinner. Food there was alright. Edible. Nothing special about it.
Shared the cab with calvin and yinghao. And wth… a taxi driver who did not know his routes. He asked us the route to take, and I said mandai. We were somewhere near lentor then. And mandai was on the right. Zzzz.. he went straight. And he realised that he could not enter SLE from there. And so he went all the way EAST, past ST on the way, and entered SLE, and went all the way back. Diaoz. And we kept asking us where to go, which way to take. From SLE, he went into BKE, and then KJE. Which was not the best route, but still acceptable.
That's not all. He missed the exit. We ended up at the exit near tengah. And there's more. He went all the way up bukit batok road, until somewhere near BBDC, turned left, went to bukit panjang via teck whye.
Until then, I was so sianz, yinghao went off, calvin was pissed also. And I ended up giving damn clear instructions to the driver on how to get to toh guan road from there. And he asked me if we are going by PIE. Siao bo…
He seriously needs a street directory. Or a GPS unit.
When I take a cab, I rather the driver knew what he is doing. If I have to advise him and guide him on the route, might as well I take over the wheel.
Reached toh guan. And then reached JE central. He automatically gave a $5 discount. Let's hope we don't get that cab again.
I wondered how he got his cab license…
On Tuesday, we had a little presentation/discussion which lasted till almost 8pm. We decided to head off to YCK for some tennis as we had already bought our stuffs. Bad choice. The floor was wet, and raymond had also closed shop for the day. Quite sianz.
So sian that yinghao and I ended up taking cab home. Now the drivers a pro. He went into SLE, exit mandai, went into BKE, exit bukit panjang, and reached yinghao's area. Fast.
Then he went by bukit batok road, all the way down to JE st. 23, turned into commonwealth ave west, and turned again into JE central. Fast.
Heng ar.
Wednesday. Hmm… Was the only day that I went home early!!! Lol! Sianz la… and tired… so went home lor…
Thursday was COMEX Day. Surprisingly, taking 857 all the way to suntec took less than half an hour! Wootz! Walked around, and bought nothing.
But it was interesting observation. Of how people could go all out to satisfy their needs and wants, and then slack down and not care about others. Of how people can just heck care when they have achieved their aims.
Selfish thoughts?
Friday was a night full got ham. Erm… Brrr…. because I went to gotham penthouse on lionel's invitation.
Gotham… GOT HAM…brrrr….
Of course I had to pay for the admission… It was engin bash. Zhangkai was there too. And jr. And lionel's friend and his 2 girlfriends.
And I think it was very bad not to introduce people when they met for the first time. It's very bad. It makes people feel that, "hey, there's no need for my friends to know you, and for you to know them. Don't bother." And lionel's friend never got the cue from lionel.
Very bad. But who cares. Lol. Ben and I left quite early. It was quite sianz.
Saw Byon there too. And Siyong. And Grace Lau! Lol… and some others…
Saturday was a day full of sun! Sentosa! Volleyball all the way till afternoon! It was hot! The sand was very very hot!!!! Ahhh!!! But it was fun! Lol… we were getting better! Yay!!!
After that, we went around looking at sunglasses. I tried on an Oakley Radar. Wow… you really pay for every little comfort… Anyway, I had already asked mandy about it… heh heh…
And then, went to IMM with rf. Actually nothing to buy. Was too tired upon reaching. zZzz…
Sunday was tennis day! Played and played… Heh… And I still love my Yonex RQiS 1 Tour SP very much. Hehehe…
