I've always wanted to write this, but I often think that, before I start to write, I must finish my stacks and queues notes first.
Till now, I have not touched on the notes yet.
But I still can explain my theory.
A stack, as the lecturer has said, is something like bak kua. The ones that are ready first will be placed at the bottom. The fresh ones will be placed on top. When there's a customer who wants to buy some, the ones at the top will be taken first.
A queue, in my own view, it just like a can drink dispenser. The cans are placed vertically. The ones that are placed below will be bought by people first, while the ones at the top will have to wait for their turn. As the word 'queue' implies, it's something that we often use in everyday lives.
In our everyday interaction with people, some will be in our queue system, whereas some with be in our stack system. People in our queue system are called 'friends', and people in our stack system are called 'irritating people'. Yes, if you guessed it, there's another system, the priority system.
In the priority system, the 'importance' of individuals are placed in your dynamic list in your mind. As the name implies, it supercedes and overwrites the other 2 systems. The higher the 'access' given, the more priority is given. It can be unknown as the special class of people. This class of people, we can call them 'loved ones' or 'treasured ones'. And of course, this list can be extended to the other 2 systems, and we can have priority lists in them too.
Have you ever thought of this problem: you place a certain person in your priority list, but in the other person, you are in the stack list? Or vice versa? Have you ever communicate with someone, and waited for hours to get a reply? Or, someone SMSed you, and you replied a few days later, or while you are going through and deleting the messages in your phone?
There's no equality in this world. Some people have all the luck. Some people are just so often being ostracized.
And sometimes, the queue list can be lost. During rage or displeasure. Queue list can be inherited by stack list as a result (which is bad), and the priority list will be at the most ideal level. Everything is possible for people in that list.
I've talked about 'downgrading'. Now I talk about 'upgrading'. Yes, it's possible for the stack list to be promoted up to the queue list and further to the priority list. This is especially fast when you are of some importance. It's very evil and pityful, but those promoted from stack list fall back as easily and as fast too…
Do think about it. Who are in your various lists? Do they deserve to be in that list? Do you need to make some changes to it? And why?

Went back to SA this afternoon! To list, Simchuan and I were the only guys from our class. Name all of them here, in order of time (earliest first): Sumerry, Alicia, Meimei, Caiyun, Shuyun. Simchuan brought his GF along. And finally, I saw Zhixiang's other half!! Hahaha… Saw some old friend here and there too… Junjie, Rachel, Qiuling, and Kumaran! Hahaha… an OK day!
And seeing BFs and GFs… well…
I better not talk about this…
