Today's topic. To understand others, you have to first understand yourself.

Sometimes, I think, I do not understand myself too much. It takes me quite a while to even think of a simple word to describe myself. It's not a simple task. Even though such things always happen, I don't seem to be able to use the same word everytime. It's not a simple task for me.

Yes, I don't know myself. Some of my friends think they know who/what am I, but what do they know? Most of them only know the most basic level: Quiet and cold when unknown, friendly when known. Some more observant ones will manage to read (and read correctly) in between, and discover more.

But that should apply to everybody, doesn't it? And very observant people are rather rare.

I agree that I do not disclose much about myself. Not that I do not like to talk about it, but I see no need to do so. Not many people want to know anyway. It's the same for happenings. Be it past, present, future, I don't really talk about it.

Maybe, I have another bigger problem: the lack of a strong ability to express myself sufficiently. Maybe I don't think that's required, that's why it's bad, or vice versa – it's bad, that's why I cannot.

Oh well.

So what do I understand about myself? Don't know…

Since I don't really understand myself, how am I going to understand others?

Yes, that sentence will often come back to haunt me.

One problem that I don't really like to touch on is BGR. I have no authority over this topic. Often, people will not like to talk about their own BGR, especially one that's gone bad somehow.

"It's complicated…"

"It's nothing…"

Some of the typical replies.

Since people don't want to talk about it, fine, I shall not ask. Even if I ask, I can give no good advice. Because, I have not been really caught in one.

Experience is virtually ZERO. Nothing to be proud of in this case. Therefore, when people start discussing about BGR, I will be listening. I have nothing to say. Nothing to contribute. Nothing to share.

And where unnecessary, I will not dig into other people's affairs. I still hold on to my own belief: whatever I need to know, will be known, sooner or later. The more I try to find out, the less I get in returns.

And ofcourse, whatever will happen, will.

Went back for quite a not-too-useful FYP briefing session. It's more like a ECE get-together, since everyone's back.

Went to Munchie Monkey with wm, ed, joan, law, grace, xinli. Makan and talk talk session! Not that I have much to say anyway. Went there to listen to latest gossips and SEP happenings. Not that I have much to contribute also.

But then, it's a good gathering. I just felt sianz sometimes. One thing I like though: the drizzle.

Hmmm… Looks like this semester's Lk Theory will be highly influenced by 2 modules. That is good I think. It's about time I redefine Lk Theory.

What is Lk Theory? Who cares. Lol…

Things are getting interesting everywhere.. ooOooo… more shows to watch? Lol. I Things that I want to know, things that I hope to know, things I think will happen, things that have already happened. So interesting!

There are more interesting things, of course. Lol!

Ok, elbow is recovering well. Should be able to bball this Sunday. Most probably will air ball, but who cares. Was thinking of swimming in the morning, but then, it rained. For almost the whole day. And water's cold. Therefore, no swim. Too bad.

So how? I spent the whole day playing with VC2005 and watching Naruto. Episode 50 already. More to go.

Read a bit of notes. Stoned a bit. Cooked a bit.

Ok, finished GEK1006 lecture around an hour ago. It's another mini Engin Gathering there…

To name a few: yingfong, junrong, zhonghui, qingxian, richard, 2 girls from previous FNA class (no not fashion show), some familiar faces.

IDEA: create a WMP plugin that will automatically display detailed information about a song according to its ID tag. Detailed information will be on database, server side.

Wahh… Lol… Let's see how do I play with WMP SDK…

Wahahaa!!! Spent the day watching Naruto… from episode 1 to 11! Damn funny…

Last time, I did not have much time to watch. Watching it now. But then, I never download anime hor… Lol. Read in this morning's paper that a ISP had lost some case regarding the release of information on accounts that have been downloading lots of anime…

Oh well. They should just let youtube take over everything. ie… charging 10cents for every 'premium' clip watched or what… Wahhaa… $$ leh… then will become mobtv, miotv…. duhz…

Tomorrow's 8 to 6!!!!!! But then, with 6 hours of break time in between. How great. -.-

I was clearing my thumbdrive at Control and Automation Lab, and I mouse-over a clearance form for I²R. And that's what was shown as title. Whahaha…

Ok, tomorrow will be the official first day. I wondered what's new this semester. It should be quite interesting.

I am thinking of the kind of mood and belief that I will use this time, but I guess, I will be the most simple type: be myself. That can be dangerous (to myself) to a certain extent. Hmm. Whatever.

Day 1 of school, and I will end up at the place that I have gone to for the past 12 weeks. That western food store guy already told me on the last day of my internship: "see you in the coming semester".

I think his words have become true. Wahahaa…

What to do tomorrow? Don't know. See how ba. No plans. No need for plans. Lol.

Anyway, elbow's recovering quite steadily. Yay. I need to swim.

No difference la, keyword or not. No keyword better. Can 'outsource' to others, let them use. Then earn royalty. No good meh?

Was surfing around, and suddenly thought of something related to EZ-Link. And then, it's information gathering time…

Found the following information at Wikipedia:

The EZ-Link card operates on a radio frequency (RF) interface of 13.56MHz at 212 kbit/s, with the potential for communication speeds in excess of 847 kbit/s.
