Today, I tried something different. I decided to take the train home. The other direction.
Calvin was going to Tanjong Pagar, and I thought I might as well try that route.
And so, instead of a single train all the way to JE, I had to transfer at Raffles Place. I felt no difference in travelling times, just that I had more choices to get off the train.
On the way, I was talking with Calvin. About what he has done with his gf, the nice things he did, about food that he is going to cook tonight… etc…
And suddenly, the topic changed. He was giving advice. To me.
Advice that I think, are relevent and true.
He knows what I am thinking deep inside.
Pro.
Maybe that’s why I chose to take that MRT route. I was seeking answers?
Really? idk…
………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Today, I chose to alight at Clementi. Calvin said he would try to buy the stuffs at Tanjong Pagar, and so, I gave Tiong Bahru a miss. Hmm. Went over to the coffee shop to buy my dinner from that å¯çˆ±é¸¡ stall. Then bought something that I should not have: chocolate milk shake from Mcdonald’s. Zzz. Took 78 after that, as I wanted to nua all the way home without changing buses.
On the way down from the upper deck of the bus, I was wondering where was the cup that I had placed at the side of my bag. I looked back at the stairs, and there it was, sitting nicely on the railings… stunt leh… it’s not everyday that I got to do that. Duhz.
Of course, I removed the cup and threw it away after I alighted from the bus. Heh.
While walking home from that bus stop, I thought I was in foreign territory. That bus stop was not the usual one where I got off the bus. Well, the surroundings had changed since the last time I remembered. Upgrading here and there, redirections here and there, etc. But somehow, I still managed to find my way home (废è¯. If I got lost in my own neighbourhood, I must be really @*#&!@(!) pathetic).
My favourite activity, whenever in an open space at night, is to look up at the sky. To look at the moon, the stars, the clouds. And somehow, I will feel a little bit more energised, and a little bit more happy.
Looking up, and wondering…
And then, closing my eyes, and feeling…
…
…
And then…. Opening my eyes and make sure there’s no incoming traffic while I cross the car park or road. Duhz. Wahahah!
