Ok, it's official. I need a new camera.
Even though I cannot anyhow take photos at work, I think I will still need 1 good camera. Not too high-end, but acceptable standard and not too bulky, yet not too small. 1 thing for sure: it has to have wide lens. It has to support standard AA batteries too, besides lithium-ion ones.
And so, I list out the requirements (wah.. sounds like some requirement specification. Lol)
- at least 7MP
- wide-angle lens with at least 3x optical zoom
- uses SD card or equivalent
- supports Li-ion and alkaline batteries
- ISO setting at least up to 1600
- fast start-up
- fast-speed shots
- display screen at least 2"
Hmm… that's about all I guess.
Why do I need a new camera?
- The old one has been cranky for quite some time
- routine upgrade season
- to take some high-resolution shots of places and scenes
- to take a new picture for my blog
- to have fun
- to get out of home and do some photo-taking outdoors if I cannot find anyone to go out with
- to show people what is photography (as if. lol)
Ok, I think I have other things to do for now. Wait till Sitex at the end of this month, then I see how.
