Assume Worst Case…

Hmm.. yeah… engineers always assume worse case scenerio eh?

Life too, you know. Lol… Everyday happenings.

Assumptions are dampeners. They absorb the effects.

For example, if you ask someone to go for a drink, assume that you will end up drinking water alone.

Or maybe, when you organise some tennis session, assume that some people will never turn up.

Perhaps, when you requested someone to help you out with a survey, feedback, or document, assume that the help is never realised.

And it looks like such assumptions are linked to the amount of trust you have in these people eh? The more you trust the person, the lesser the assumptions, but then, if the trust is broken, the effect is going to be big.

Trust and assumption. Which one do you prefer? I prefer trust. My highest priority is always trust. With trust, there will be love. With love comes other things. Wahaha! Yeah yeah.. I trust, so I am very lovable. *pukes*

Ok, application of worse-case scenerio.

I cannot find my charger for the battery for the camera! Worse case? Use batteries lor… There's something very wrong with the shoot buttons also. There's something very wrong with the camera.

I did not use it much anyway. But, looking at its condition now, it does not look that way. How did it manage to become like that? Why? It's not supposed to be like this…

That's the side effect of trusting too much I guess. Let that be a lesson learnt. Quite an expensive one, but then, lessons learnt through friends are often not very cost-effective. LIke my siao friend, who lent $$ to another friend. That friend lied regarding the reason for borrowing. They have not been in talking terms since. It's been years.

Yeah. Explaining the above does not bring out my charger. What is it…. Hmm… *thinks*

Hmm.. another worse-case scenerio.

Tomorrow's tennis.

IT WILL RAIN.

Yeah.
