Yes. We swam, but in the afternoon.
Lijian and I were on the bus to Bukit Batok, when Zhenyao SMSed, saying that the weather did not look too good. Yeah, earlier, I had already told him about the weather: rain. In the end, we decided to postpone it.
We went up to Zhenyao’s second home. Quite a nice place, on the 9th floor, my favourite number! Hahaa… He’s the only one in there at that time. Yeah, of course I went around exploring like the house’s mine… look here, look there. Quite spacious…
We decided to go to KBox instead! I got Victor to come out also! So, we went to JE KBox for K Lunch! Luckily, the rain had started to fall only while we were crossing the road to take 176 to JE…. and luckily we were not in the pool, as showers with thunder ==> no swimming.
Yeah it was cold! Hahaha! But shiok. But seemed like we were all infected with the Superstar virus. We were trying to imitate the judges comments, what “head voice”, “groove”, whatever! Hahaha! But really, singers, listen to the judges’ comments on the contestants. You can apply them too! Hahahha!
Yeah, sang not much songs. Victor said he was there to watch MTV, and we wondered why. He could sing, but just try to mumble like someone has put super glue in his mouth. I tried some “die die” songs, like “Forever Love” and “??”, and some “can die” songs like “????” and “??”, and of course, “survive songs” like “????” and “???????”… Hmm… really not much songs. We even tried the song that Weilian sang during the competition: “?????????”. It’s a nice song. I am still looking for it… We even tried to be killed by singing “??”! 😡
Yeah… due to the fact that, it’s hard to pull girls along for Kbox, it’s not recommended to sing these duets. Which also means, I have not sing any duet with a girl before. Who shall be the lucky (or suay, in whatever light you choose to see this in) one to sing a nice nice song with me? Hahahaha!
I know my own voice. I did try to record my own singing using my mic and listen carefully. Sometimes I think it sounds ok, and sometimes, I just delete the file away. ????! I think I will have to work more on high notes… because, it’s really like killing chickens…

Yes, Laksa for lunch, lemon tea for drink, and at 2pm, we were out of there! The rain had stopped by then, and we decided to go for the swim despite the clouds overhead. It’s a good choice and a bad choice. The good choice was, it did not rain! The bad choice was, due to morning rain, everyone had decided to come in in the afternoon! The pool was packed! And some siao young boys were trying to be funny, swimming right in front of me, perpendicular in direction. Well done. Should have headbutted him and give him 1 kick somewhere non-lethal (I am, most of the time, a “harmless” creature..). Forced me to stop in the middle of the pool to wait for him to pass. An an uncle too! Cutting my path, same thing! And I don’t really like people swimming front crawl, as most don’t really look in front!
Hmm… however, I still like to “speed” through the water… Hmm… I wondered how much force my hands and legs are able to provide me with now…
So this day marks the end of a KBox Draught, and the start of a swimming-in-cloudy-conditions trend…
And I think I need a new pair of goggles! This current pair is starting to show problems. Maybe, I should just use it till something happens to it, before I think of getting a new one.
Just finished printing and cutting some papers. Time to sleep soon… *yawns*
