busy day… even on term break

Update for the whole day first. First, I woke up at 7.30am! Went out at 9 to Chong Pang to meet my camp mates, then we went in for a walk. Went back to the workshop, and I can see that, actually, they are having quite a good life there. They moved the fridge over from the other rest room! Now, all of them are under some centralized command, and they get a little token of appreciation when they ORD! Where’s mine???

Meaning? My unit people don’t really appreciate what we have done for them.

After that, we went over to Yishun for lunch, then to Swenson’s for ice cream! Fries, fried mushrooms, Topless 5, hazelnut blended, sticky chocolate, etc… I don’t know why, but everytime we go to the swenson’s there, we are served by some cute girl. You know, those type that give you a pleasant smile everytime? Ya… service with a smile! =)

Got to go off at 1.40pm. I had 20 minutes to get to NUS, which was impossible. The cab reached SRC at 2.20pm. I was still earlier than Joan, however.. haha! Played badminton till 4pm! Not really tiring, but due to the frequency of playing, my hands were trembling (they still are) after that.

Went to stone around with Ben and Junrong at AS2-03-11 after our dinner. We were trying to siam those dancers (we avoided, once at arts canteen), and so, we decided to hide in that room till 7pm. Tried to get some Physics concepts in at that time, but it looked like nothing was kept in my head.

Went to crowd outside LT13 at 7pm. The performance that we were going to watch was Evocation, by the NUS Dance Ensemble. Nice performance! Went there in support of 2 girls. Haha… Overall, all danced well. Should I go into critique mode?

The sound and lighting system was not bad, but can be better with rear surround speakers (come on, not watching a movie…). Maybe the location where I sat was not that good, as the front coloured lighting kept shining into my eyes. Irritating. The LT itself was alright, although a bit small.

Next is about the dances. Professional, elegant, precise (can be improved), emotional. Maybe I should have used this term: Awesomely excellent!
A great choreographer is one that’s able to pass the message that he/she wants to get across to the audience, which is not that easy, and only few will be able to do that. For some of the items tonight, I did understand what they were trying to show, whereas some others were really ?. Maybe that’s the mood that we are supposed to have, or maybe I was not really paying full attention. Opps… But there were sure a lot of siaozabors around screaming like mad whenever a guy appeared on the stage, especially when the funka guys came on stage to perform… Wah…
And there’s even guest performances by TKGS, which also brought some screams…

But they were good. Yeah. Good.

One day. Gone just like that. Can go choreograph an item for that too…

End of critique mode.

And we condemn that florist shop for that funny smelling flowers… I was wondering if they remembered to give some water to the flowers, as in, a small ‘container’ made of aluminium foil to wrap up the ends of the flowers?

About yesterday? Went back to school to discuss abit about our little MNO project. We don’t have much time left on that, and so, we had to get some things done before the end of the week. At least we did get to settle some ideas. It’s a good discussion. We will get better as the week goes by.

Went to Marina to get back my IC from Ben, who used it to collect the pair of free tickets to Closer. Is Marina Square going to be renovated? Everywhere I walked past, the shops seemed like closing down soon. Went to Sim Lim after that. Helped Ben buy the 10m USB cable, which means that I do not have to pay him for the flowers today… hahaha! Talked to Hanwei at the camera shop as usual. Yeah I always went there to find him whenever he’s there. Everytime I saw him, I will be reminded of my aim to get a digital camera…

Tomorrow’s another day back in school… zzz

And I am still stuck with Physics…
