As I was saying, I got out of my house, went over to Queensway, and grab a bball for Dennis. I think I have gone into the correct shop, because the price was lower than expected… haha…
Next, I went off to NUS for CTW discussion. Had lunch at Mac (again). Finally, I have signed up for the points thing, so now, I can earn points also! Not much work done…
Ok, more about Mac. Had bought Chicken Prosperity Meal. Try not to try that burger. Learn your lesson from me. Ben and I had the same verdict: CMI. The sauce was super hot, but the meat was tasteless. The whole burger, I can only taste pepper. It's bad. Beef Prosperity was much nicer, although it's just an oversized MacPepper. After that, it's make-up lecture time. Nothing special for that. And then at 3.30pm, we went over to KR to discuss. Not much work done also. Little progress. We stayed till 6.30pm! And I was out of NUS by 7. Saw Qiuyan at the bus stop, by the way! Our dear long-lost Qiuyan! It's just too bad that the bus came a bit too early, or maybe she turned around too late. Never mind, will get her contact info next time I see her in NUS. She's just next door: SDE.
Went over to Outram Park MRT station to meet the rest, namely, Zhixiang, Ruifu and Chris. Then we went over to the same old KTV where we had the bday celebration last year. Alex was already there singing away. And Dennis' GF was there too! First time seeing her.. haha.. nice girl! Sang some songs, talked some crap, drank some alcohol. Zhixiang, Ruifu and Chris did not sing any! Their reasons: sore throat, cannot sing, don't want. Well…
We left quite early. 11pm. I would have stayed on if there's someone to share the midnight cab with. Dennis' GF (till now I still don't know her name) stopped us as there's a bday cake! Nice ice cream cake! Left after that. We went for supper at the hawker centre. Walked a bit of the pasar malam. Would have walked the whole stretch if not for rushing for the last bus… Well… So disappointing… So tempted to buy many things, and yet did not…
Guess I will have to make a trip down to Chinatown one day… some day before CNY. Anyone interested..??
Reached home eventually, smelling of tobacco. My bag has got the smell too. I bet my laptop does, too.. Now my laptop has become a passive smoker… Even my HP has that smell! Guess how bad was the air pollution index in the KTV just now. No prize for the correct answer though.
Thoughts for the day. It's great to have a special someone to celebrate one's birthday with. So good… I want, but I don't have… *sobz*
