Some people will go out with certain people at a call's notice, but not some other people after years of asking.

We have to accept that people are indeed different in many many ways. Understanding that, we will be able to feel why people are like that, how can they be like that, and to whom they can be like that.

At the end of the day, you have to have a little evaluation. What have you got out of the meeting? Did the other party benefitted from the meeting? Is everyone comfortable with the meeting? Are there any problems faced during the meeting? Is everyone enjoying the meeting?

If there's any 'no' in the answers to the questions, then maybe, somehow, we have to find out why, and improve on it next time.

Interpersonal relationships are a fun activity. It should not be too unpleasant. Even for bad incidents like for example, your friend gets angry with you for something that you have done. Of course, you may feel hurt or even get even more agressive (don't ever be this though), but you got to be glad too, for he/she has given you a form of feedback on his/her expectations of you.

Emotions don't come out of nowhere. True emotions are shown when trust is present. Note: true emotions. Not surface acting.
