Everyone else had decided to be on time, but I chose to be ahead of time, which proved to be a wise choice. Presented to him my code, and he had no complains, and that's it. And it just happened that when I was there, he was talking to a long-lost friend of his, and I think the call's from US, because he said goodnight before hanging up the phone half an hour later. I was free anyway, so I waited in there, enjoying the aircon. Quite sian actually. Should had brought my laptop along, so at least I can make some music in his room, or even play the musical game with his son… wahhhaaa… idea leh…<\/p>\n The talk went fine. There's one thing I knew after that, and that is: I won't be getting this internship. At least not what I have wanted. They are looking for people for sales, which is so-called commission-based. And I am so bad at advertising and persuasion skills. And he did say something about not being to pay for an intern as the company is not really making money yet, and that if I want, he can take me in and train me in technical skills, but unpaid…<\/p>\n But then, I think I need at least some money to eat. I told him I will think about it. In the meantime, I think I might be looking forward to round 2. Or backwards. Or withdraw. Suddenly thinking. Maybe, at current level, I should not be doing VIP. I am still not clear about my direction. Which field to go into? They are all very fun. Opportunity costs.<\/p>\n Haiz…<\/p>\n Everything has to be very clear. The concept must be very clear…<\/p>\n Hmm…<\/p>\n Well, shown him this webbie. He said that he don't think that it is very complicated here. Think easy, think simple, and think friendly.<\/p>\n I believe in friendliness.<\/p>\n After school, I played the bus game again. 188 never arrived, but 183 did. I was sleeping all the way, and I woke up in time, before the bus stopped at the bus stop before it went into the interchange. But I was so sian that I decided to take the bus all the way in, and walk out. Jalan jalan a bit. Nothing to buy. IMM? No 188. JP? Too far for a Thursday late trip. Another day ba. Monday, maybe? 10am dental, then jalan jalan…still have to go Orchard to collect my electronics voucher…<\/p>\n Met Meimei in school just now. She was meeting Ben, and then ?? return my policies to me. Well well… lol…<\/p>\n Met Kelvin just now. I was having some little problem in looking for names to sabo… no.. to give him to introduce some really nice plan… But he's the type that doesn't believe in really selling. But many people still think that insurance agents and financial advisors sux, and so, I decided not to give away too many names. I don't like people to turn hostile to a friend just because he or she is having such an occupation. <\/p>\n I wondered why people siam from all these people. I always meet them with a mentality that I am just there to listen to their talks, and provide them with feedback as and when needed. I treat it as a meet-up. A friend chat session. <\/p>\n Which also means that, I will not really meet anyone I do not know.<\/p>\n So far, I have met 3. 2 are the really nice ones. 1 has been blacklisted by everyone.<\/p>\n And I met 2 of them on the same day. Well done.<\/p>\n And tomorrow, there's a 2011 quiz. I am not ready. Just like today's 2004 quiz. I left a question blank. I don't understand. No point copying something that I don't understand. Might as well leave it blank, and then I will find out the answer, and I will remember. <\/p>\n To me, what are marks? Statistics. We all have led very statistical lives.
