HopeList 2006!

Alright… it's time for more new year resolutions! As usual, it's time I write my HopeList 2006! As for HopeList 2005, I will only evaluate it when it's 2006. 2005 is not over yet!

For 2006, I hope:

to add more colours to my life,

to be healthy,

to bring the CAP up even more,

to be as flexible as ever,

to understand, to listen, to feel more,

to not jump into conclusions too often,

to bring happiness to anyone, everyone,

to not wait for too long,

to do what I think I should do,

to continue to believe.

All are not listed according to priority. All are equally important. Some people may just brush it off as “nah…. crap!”, but I just have to believe. All are pretty indirect I suppose, and are able to branch out into more things. Alot of things, summarised by these 10 in this HopeList.

And a very important lesson to be learnt this year is:

Higher expectations bring about greater disappointments.

Surprises are more pleasant sometimes. Of course, there are nasty surprises, but overall, nasty surprises are mostly due to much ignorance, to high expectations, to stupidity. So, why not plan for a nasty surprise? At least if it is really bad, it will not be that bad, because it is expected. If it turns out good, then it is a pleasant surprise!

Yeah, same as what optimisation and run-time always require: Always consider worst cases/ scenerios.

Do I need to elaborate every of the 10 Hopes? I don't think so. Use your imagination. Feel. Touch. Hear. Look. You will understand. Eventually.

And I believe.

Anyway, stoned for the whole day today! Nothing on. All's not free for any swim. No one's online. No idea what modules to take. And nothing much to do at home also.

I think I miss out something last night? After the distributing of leaflets, Eddy and I went somewhere Jurong for supper! Nasi Lemak… not that good, but still edible. Hmm… And at night, I have this problem of identifying places, and especially when I am wearing specs. Where was the place?? Hmmm… Boon Lay I think… the newly renovated one. Very high ceiling. I like! Lol…

And yes, I received my notice to collect the coin. Since I opted to collection at the mint, I will have to wait till 9/1/2006. Within walking distance… haha… Yes, the 2nd coin for the series. 10 more to go.

I still have a story book to finish reading, a short story to read, a timetable to plan, a room to tidy up, a few things to buy. That trip to Ikea, frankly, was a wasted one. Not all were interested to give that place a full walk that day. As Jianliang had experienced, I buy things after really little consideration. And I buy things without much consideration if they are for people.

I like to see people smile. Never mind if it doesn't go both ways. That's not important.

Maybe, I will go Ikea again, one fine day…

Oh well, Mr Law is going to charge me for webhosting next year! Eh… special rate leh… 1 month $1? Wahaha… I dream on…

Alright… it's time for more new year resolutions!
