And that means, I shall start on the evaluation of all the modules that I have took this semester once again.

EE2006 – Digital Design
This is the subject that I have the most confidence in. Reason? It’s fun, flexible, and unpredictable at times. To summarise all, it’s challenging. But as usual, for my case, confidence is inversely proportionate to results. That’s why I hate exams sometimes. I know, but I just don’t know what you are trying to say.

The labs were fun, playing with bread boards and stuff like that. Unlike other labs, where we have to rush through the whole experiment and for some, finish up the lab report and hand in by the end of 3 hours, these labs were design experiments. Except for the VHDL labs, the rest of the labs were for the same question.

The exam, which was the last paper, was OK, I think. Some questions I do not know. I thought it was not important. Hahaa.. Some, I did, and I did not know what I was doing. And so, see how ba…

EE2009 – Signals
“You must do it!” – CC Ko.
Ok, I did it, and with lots of errors. Totally catch no ball for the first part of the lecture, which was not taught by CC Ko. The second part was slightly better, but still blur. E-test was fun, but I kept making the same mistakes. There were 2 experiments, and as usual, went in and did things which I did not understand, and then hand in lab reports by 5pm, that sort of thing. I did pass the labs, however.

The paper was quite fun. I was thinking through one of my answers, and was about to make one final change when the lecturer said “time’s up”. Oh well. That’s it.

EE2010 – Systems And Control
This module deals with stability of Linear-time invariant (LTI) systems. After a bit of guidance from a good tutor, I managed to shift my poles more to the left hand plane… mid term was ok, except that, I only managed to solve some questions through some ‘banging through the wall’ method… The labs were ok, as we were allowed to finish up the report and hand in by 2pm the next day.

The paper was a stunner. Almost everyone was shocked at the standard of the paper. What a way to kick off our exam week…

EE2012 – Analytical Methods in Electrical and Computer Engineering
What a long module name! This is the worst module! When you revise, you think you understand, but when tests and exams come, you realise that you understand nothing! The book’s no good for revision, as it tends to skip lots of things. The mid term was a nightmare with some disagreements here and there. Bad…

The exam, as expected, was bad. I brought in 10% of the knowledge into the exam hall, and come out feeling cheated. Why did he use the same paper?? I mean, the questions are the same, only some changes in values here and there? Why? Is he that lazy?

SSA2204 – Nation Building
I took this module to fulfill my Singapore Studies requirement. An OK module on Singapore history, with thinkings and quite a lot of readings.

One thing for sure is that, I don’t really like to write essays. I just hope that, for the exam, I did manage to pull the kite back to its path. I don’t want to get back a ‘U’ for this module.

That’s the end of the evaluation. Overall, it’s not really a nice semester….

And so, after the paper today, Edwin, Benjamin, Joan, Xinli, and I went to Ghim Moh market to have lunch. Hmmm… there were quite a number of stores that were closed, perhaps, due to Monday. All except 1, ordered from the same seafood soup stall… Quite ok I think. Maybe due to the fact that I only ate 1 packet of biscuit in the morning, I finished up the food quite fast… hungry!!

And after that, Ben and I alighted at Bouna Vista MRT station, and the other 3 went back to school. Hmm.. I had no where else to go. I took MRT, and alighted at JE. Went over to IMM to try to shop. Did buy something from the DIY shop. And after buying some food, I went home.

On reaching home, I started to clean up my room, and paint the bed with some leftover paint from last year’s painting of the living room. Quite nice, I think.

Nice?? Wahahaa…

Yeah, and that’s what I did after the exams. The moment I was online this afternoon, people started to ask me, “eh, never go out?”

Yes. Never go out. Due to the lack of people. All wanted to go home. I was somehow indirectly forced home. And so, I am home. So? Home… means home… aiya crap.

It just proves my last blog. That’s why I have reduced anticipation. It’s better that way.

Yeah, no one will be in the mood to do other things too. But then, I just wanted a walk around, before actually heading back home. Cannot? Too bad then…

Maybe I should go find Lionel one day, go all the way to Bishan to visit him there, and maybe I will get more whipped cream for my White Chocolate Dream? Waahaha!

I will like to visit Zhangkai one fine day too, at Hougang, and see what he’s selling…. Hmmm… See how.

And I want to swim. I want to bball. I want to play tennis. I want to play badminton…!!!

Wahahaa…. =)

Today’s the last paper already!
