Let there be Light.

Well, it's 2005. Another year. As we bring in the new year, let's not forget the
effects of the natural disaster on our neighbouring countries. In the morning of 26 December 2004, an underwater earthquake off Sumatra sent tsunami waves throughout the region, destroying buildings and claiming lives as they came crashing down on the shores of various countries.

The latest statistics from Channel NewsAsia has reported that the death toll has reached 125 000.

Homes were destroyed. Lives were lost. And a number of people are still missing. For those who have survived, they are facing the lack of clean water, starvation, injuries, diseases, and the lack of shelter, which might claim more lives if help does not reach them in the shortest time possible.

It's a new year. Start by doing something meaningful today. Do make a donation. The amount does not matter. Nothing is too little or too much.
