Yes, silence is golden. It enables people to see. And I am still looking around.
I see lots. How some people can let go easily. They are able to change their mindset in a short time. Is that good? Maybe.
Did I let go of things easily? Yes, I hope so. Forgetting things is a real skill. Is that good or bad? Is it really possible to forget everything, and not remember a thing? That's hard.
People do remember.
And why some people are able to hold on like forever? Don't they grow tired of things that they will never get? Perhaps, this is just a way of self-motivation. A way of Hope. As long as Time is still moving, Hope is all around.
Some people like to hold on to Hope for as long as they can. I used to do that. But now, I don't. At least not too much
Sometimes, sitting around and observing can be scary. Seeing events unfolding infront of me, it's rather sad. Sometimes, I don't understand why some people want to hurt themselves by holding on. Isn't letting go, a good choice? Won't letting go be a form of relieve?
And after questioning them, it's always back to questioning myself: why did I hold on for so long? I guess I can answer that.
It's the Belief. A Belief that is kept alive with the faintest light possible. Am I explaining why my blog is named after that word? Perhaps it used to.
I hope I no longer look forward to certain things. And I hope that people can do likewise. Don't fade this little hope. I am still alive, yes.
Happily transferred Hazelsky.net over to GoDaddy.com, and thought of playing with a bit of SSL. And now, I need to generate a CSR, and my this hosting 'company' did not enable SSL functions for its users. How? Lol. Generate CSR!!!!
Went for an afternoon swim with Zhenyao this afternoon. The sun was soooo hot! But it's shiok. The water's still quite cooling. I wished I can stay there longer, till 4, but no, I don't want to be too much of a lobster. Went to IMM on Monday, but ended up buying nothing much. Walking around alone can be quite boring, but that's the way it should be.
And I just love that song by Akon. And I love to blast that song by Evanescence. Lol… Totally no link to the above… 😛
Went for the first EE2001 lab session. Oh well, the 1983 batch of guys have to face another milestone for being a guinea pig. Even the teaching assistants did not know how certain things are going to be done. And so, more or less, we are going to set the standard. Well done. Programmed a chip, everything looked ok, and we never got past the first chip test. In the end they found out that the chips had not been initialised. And I was thinking of playing with the code, like, making a LED dance…. etc… haiz…
